Gold has moved into top gear but CEY is in reverse!

Certainly odd that CEY has not performed with the POG. I suspect Blackrock is selling down.

Frustrating to see gold at a 2 months high and Centamin doing so poorly. We were around 170p when gold was last at this level.

It keeps bouncing off the 200 dma. Needs gold to take a run . I dont like the series of lower highs so taking out 170p would make me feel better

One wanders what the writer in the Tempus column would have said when cey was trading between 35p and 65p. I seldom taken information the the financial columns of newspaper. I remember when the so called financial expert in the Independent was always advising to stay away from online gambling company, Sportingbet, it made me megabucks. People also note FIL Investments have gone short on cey on 27 July, funny how negative articles appear in the newspapers the following weekend, a case similar to gvc few weeks ago.

The uncertainty is why CEY is cheap. This is why PIs can profit

The uncertainty is whether we'll get 30% or 50% or 70% of FCF, and how much FCF will be, given the varying need for money in the various parts of the business. It's not uncertainty about whether they'll make money and pay some of it. As long as you don't have to have a very high regular predictable dividend I don't think Tempus has much of a point.

dewolf agree fireworks coming, yanks already denied NK regime change attempt, so confirmed.
Translate 0300 hrs pong yang and you have start. Cool down allowed but expect war by Christmas, depends if they do anything outrageous. Suspect yanks will look for support asia and perhaps europe, russia meanwhile.

Tempus in The Times says that, even though there's a prospective yield of 3.2%, the uncertainty that surrounds Centamin and its ability to sustain a stable dividend return means that it's best avoided.

Looks overdone compared to others but chart reveals its character, buy time for me. Hopefully can transfer some UKOG positive dosh to here next week. Strong reliable co a bit like HOC in that.
TSX:FR. 18% down, not in that category
