No news re court case for long time. To us anyway. Perhaps others know differently - hence Josef's sales and share price being held back. Speculation on my part but Cey is just not moving as one would expect given gold price and hasn't been for some time. Pity.

why do you mention SL particularly, juju44? Of the last 4 holdings RNSs we've had Van Eck increasing, Van Eck reducing, SL reducing and Blackrock reducing, none of them by huge amounts.

This constant fall is now getting very worrying and with no apparent reason often results in bad news and the consequent big drop. Will continue to hold but must say I won't be adding just yet.

Sometimes it takes a long term prospective on relative prices to see where we are truly headed. Go to stockcharts.com and look at CELTF:$HUI over the last 5 years. This is the US$ converted CEY share price vs the Gold Bugs unhedged gold miners index. This doesn't take into account the heavy dividend CEY pays as well (not total return). Will the outperformance continue? I believe it will if CEY manages to produce further growth opportunities. Here is a link to the above chart:

Effectively they reported going under 15% (15.6 to 14.98). I can't see them selling out...if they do then the share price it isn't going nowhere - it's going down! 15% would be 173m shares to sell into an average daily volume of around 7m!

I think that RNS shows that Blackrock shares have been sold & CFDs increased (more shares sold than CFDs bought).

However, the transaction happened on the 13th - the lowest share price that day was 148.5, so it does not explain yesterdays fall unless more shares held by Blackrock have been sold since.

I sold slowly into the climb. Good time for me wrt taxes and other opportunities. Added to my remaining holding recently and especially today. Long term (2yr+) chart looks great to me. Heavy divi too. If you don't have to sell now, things are on the up. I can see gold grinding higher over the next year. What CEY needs is some new growth prospects. Egypt or BkF?
