There's a circa 10% dividend yield at these levels. That's huge. With the prospect of further appreciation in the share price. This has to be a good buy at these levels.

To quote from the last results:
"Continued positive results from underground exploration drilling at Sukari. An updated resource and reserve estimate is planned during the first half of 2017"

Could this be a catalyst for some share price movement in the next 2 weeks? GLA ...

Jimbowen, I think that must be what it is rather than EDSP. This is what I've determined:

HGM & Ladbrokes not in FTSE350 so EDSP does not apply.
For the rest, it was the 3rd Friday of the quarter so EDSP does apply, however, EDSP discovery starts at 10:15am, the unusual trade in CEY was the closing auction (57m out of a total volume of 66m for the day). It appears to be similar for the other stocks.
The EDSP auction volume was only 427,042.

So perhaps there are other futures/options that happened to expire on Friday in the closing auction such as the GDXJ ETF you mention. I'm still not sure how these huge trades didn't move the respective prices by much though.

FYI it's been estimated the GDXJ ETF needed to buy approximately 75 million CEY shares due to the rebalancing, which had to be done by Friday 16th June

"EDSP stands for exchange delivery settlement price. It refers to the price at which derivative contracts on exchanges are settled.

The methods of calculating EDSP vary from exchange to exchange, but it usually involves averaging the prices of trades made over a certain period of time. The EDSP of the FTSE 100 is attained by the means of an intraday auction on the last trading day of the month."

Can't see how EDSP has anything to do with it?
