To be fair I sold those a long time ago, I've been in & out of CEY since 2004.

Yes, the fundamentals are compelling. However the band of technical investors will just be trading a chart alert. A Resistance breakout followed by a brief retest from above is a pretty reliable signal.

I think CEY would be better off if it wasn't taken over. There is a lot coming in the future...unfortunately the very reasons a shareholder might have for not wanting a takeover are the very reasons a company might want to do a takeover!

no it's the valuation.

Given the very healthy cash, debt levels, and EPS growth of CEY this company is mispriced.

The market is putting it's slide rule over the company and a re-rating is underway.

You dont need news for that you just need to look at the financials page for RRS and the financials page for CEY and observe the mismatch. (which you can do if you have 2 chrome pages open)

Going to get volatile now . but this is about re-rating nothing else.

The over excited will take profits now but hang on - (Sawadee was right - he just didn't know WHY he was right and has presumably sold) - but in my view there is a long, long way to go on this one.

I would like to to see 2/3rds of the 10 year compound growth rate as a PE ratio for starters. Not going to get there in a day maybe not even in a year. But that would seem a more appropriate valuation

No it's not a takeover lol it's trumps comments on the dollar being too strong coupled with North korea threatening to 'do something' today

I think the market has got its calculator out. . finally.

Compare ten year earnings growth rate, divi, cash pile, and debt levels to RRS (or any Uk listed gold miner in the Uk). The valuation has been wrong for a while.
