So how come Sparta Prague can get a 1-1 draw at Stuttgart and we get demolished 7-1 by Dortmund.

This is one humiliation too many and IMO Rodgers should be sacked in the morning. He's had more than enough chances.

should celtic and rangers be reduced to one home tie per side in each of fa cup and league cup? [maybe, max 2 home tie for the clubs finishing at 3 and 4, the prev season?]

for example, celtic are drawn at home in the last 16 of the league cup - they are given the option of accepting it as per draw or they decline it and redraw as the away team - they would decline in the hope of getting a home tie in later round against stronger side, but that home draw tie would not be guaranteed [ie, the q-f, as the semis are at hampden]

Engels looks to me like a midfield version of Van Dijk. He's an absolute Rolls Royce of a midfielder. If he keeps playing like that I doubt he'll be here next season. He'll be off to the Premiership for £45M
