24/9/2023 10:10 | Jota is planning a return to Celtic in January, former Parkhead striker Frank McAvennie says he has heard, after the 24-year-old winger was left off Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad's team list following his £25m summer move from the Scottish champions. (Football Insider) Portuguese winger Jota could be set for a reunion with former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur after the 24-year-old had a request to terminate his Al Ittihad contract terminated rejected as head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to keep him long term. 22/9/2023 21:40 | injury status: 'Celtic's Nat Phillips has an ankle problem while fellow defender Yuki Kobayashi and wingers Mikey Johnston and Marco Tilio are closer to fitness. Liel Abada, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh are all out.' | wrtmf
20/9/2023 11:15 | sending a team out to avoid defeat is not in Brendan Rodgers' skillset. But it is exactly what every manager needs in European football. Asagi (long CCP) | asagi
20/9/2023 09:23 | Celtic have never bothered to try and learn how to play for a draw in Europe. Funnily, of all their recent managers, it was Lennon that 'got' Europe best. Worryingly, few signs that the summer's signings have improved the team or will create any excitement. On the other hand, Liam Scales looks to have done his transfer value no harm at all in his recent starts. Asagi (long CCP) | asagi
20/9/2023 07:47 | scales and ccv could make for a very good pairing going forward target: league and fa cup, post xmas euroball looks a big ask | wrtmf
19/9/2023 21:03 | Full time. Feyenoord 2 Celtic 0 No surprises then. Celtic did what everyone expects them to do in Europe now. Lose. Feyenoord looked average but that's enough to beat Celtic. I'm dreading the matches versus Lazio and Athletico. These will be a step up in quality. Behind the sofa time. | kev0856153
19/9/2023 20:32 | from the first pic i saw lagerbielke looked lightweight for a central defender [such poor recruitment] nothing like a mjallby edit - just gone down to 9 men lol edit pity there is not enough time on the clock for the bhoys to be smashed for 6 | wrtmf
19/9/2023 19:52 | Halftime Feyenoord 1 Celtic 0 Everything going as anticipated so far. No surprises. Celtic on course to lose in Europe. Again. | kev0856153
19/9/2023 11:07 | bid:offer now 125p:137p which is novel but still not inspiring trades in size. If they can go on a run in Europe, instead of being absolutely hopeless it would also do their UEFA coefficient some good too, increasing the likelihood of automatic Champions League qualification for SPL champions in years to come. Asagi (long CCP) | asagi
19/9/2023 11:03 | These results put Celtic up there with the other big clubs outwith the big 5 leagues. I think the likes of Porto and Ajax have £100M+ revenues. If they can go on a run in Europe, instead of being absolutely hopeless, then they can maintain and improve this level. Tonight away in Rotterdam. Come on Celtic. Everyone things you'll lose so surprise us for once. | kev0856153
18/9/2023 20:46 | 'Feyenoord have had "a real warm feeling" towards Celtic since their only competitive meeting in 1970's European Cup final, according to Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan. The two teams meet again in Tuesday's Champions League group-stage opener in Rotterdam. Van der Kraan says "everybody here thinks Feyenoord are favourites" but points out that was not the case when they beat Celtic 2-1 in Milan. "There is a tremendous history between the clubs," he told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound. "It will be really special on Tuesday." Van der Kraan recalled an interview with a former Feyenoord player from that European triumph. "He told me it was such a tremendous Celtic side, managed by Jock Stein, and they were convinced they were going to win," he recalled. "He said 'we were the underdogs'. "He said 'it is the best memory I've had in football when the next morning when we came out with the team out of the hotel to get on the bus. We couldn't believe our eyes - there were hundreds of Celtic fans standing in a long row applauding us as European Cup winners. "This was such a fantastic sports gesture. None of the players have forgotten that down the decades and that's why there is a real warm feeling about Celtic coming to Rotterdam." ' | wrtmf
18/9/2023 20:28 | Celtic announce £41m pre-tax profit after Champions League and player sales | wrtmf
18/9/2023 17:12 | £72m net cash, spent £15m in this period and received about £5m in sales, still have £35m from CL to drop through during the season, can see us moving to a higher level over the next couple of years and in a position to bring in top players in January if needed to ensure we win the league and qualify for the new lucrative CL that could be worth up to £50m. | mickinvest

12/9/2023 16:58 | Fenerbahce are reluctant to complete the signing of Jota on loan from Al-Ittihad because he cannot now be registered to play in the Europa Conference League, which could leave the 25-year-old winger in limbo as he has not been registered as part of the Saudi Arabian club's eight-player foreign contingent for their domestic games following his summer transfer from Celtic. 09/9/2023 11:21 | 67HailHail points it out: As discussed on 67 Hail Hail this morning, participation for the Premiership winners in next season’s UEFA Champions League could land as much as €41m even before ticket sales and extra commercial opportunities are added on. The Ibrox side are being increasingly boxed into a corner due to Celtic’s success. If Rodgers and the squad do what they are capable of this season, an even bigger task is on their hands to stop the Bhoys juggernaut in future campaigns. Mr O'Neill spot on with his analysis as always. here is the 'as discussed' article: Asagi (long CCP) | asagi

06/9/2023 16:22 | It's how you play small caps, you wait for the slack getting taken up then you try and get the last at a decent price. I've got enough but was just a trading position ahead of results with view of getting an extra 5k at under £1.30 and selling above £1.40 before end of month so wouldn't pay £1.32+. | mickinvest
06/9/2023 16:16 | "Aye would have been happy to pay £1.2975 but no higher." well if you wanted 20k shares it appears that you could have done so this morning, or on Monday, or yesterday! Asagi (long CCP) | asagi |
