We were close tonight, if Maeda hadn't touched the ball then Palma's goal would have stood and we may have won.

We need an actual defender at left back, we can't keep kidding on Taylor can float about and do 5 yard passes backwards, we need someone like Johnston on the left. Yang was poor and Bernardo also when he came on but we're not far away. It was obvious like every team in the SPFL, Lazio targeted balls inside Taylor all night from 1st minute.

I don't even feel bad about tonight. I just don't care anymore and I know loads of Celtic fans who feel the same way. They've totally given up on Europe. We'll just collect the cash and move onto the next match.

Lost again of course but only 2-1.

Now a double header with Athletico Madrid coming up. Just hoping they don't get totally embarrassed but they are certain to lose both of these games. They'll definitely lose in Rome so the only chance of getting a point will be at home to Feyenoord. Hopefully they can sneak a draw and avoid total humiliation.

According to the London Stock Exchange website, bid:offer is now 130p:137p... I haven't seen a 7p spread since January when it was 108p:115p!

So let's have a round of applause for the market makers.

Celtic need to learn how to draw in the Champions League before anyone should be thinking about winning. Lennon knew that. Postecoglou didn't. Rodgers never will.

Big game tomorrow night.

My take is everyone expects Celtic to finish bottom and to pick up 1 or 2 points in the Group. Lazio should win tomorrow night given Celtic are absolutely rotten in Europe when they play a decent side. Therefore if the impossible happens, and Celtic actually win, then the upside shock to the share price might be significant.
