Hi,

The only provider of these services with a Freeview slot.

8 million homes, plus all those multi-tv homes, but which only have satellite in the living room ;)

Don't forget, that they're still looking for new staff, and am sure other stuff is being worked on -as these small companies are able to do!

Kind regards,

MN

Lord Santafe,

Hardly a success ! although I agree the share price is at rock bottom.

Is it allowed to go up in these bad markets?

I'm hopeful that the company has now reached break-even with the new freeview channel coming on air last week - so, am expecting that we will get a nice trading statement along with results before the end of the month.

CLTV up on bad day and no fall yesterday. This indicates a success. Any price up 2p to buy will net you a short term double bagger.

Thanks Analyst since that adds further to my confidence.

Everything found about Cellcast lately just keeps getting better and better, and yet the market makers still keep pretending nothing is happening. Well it seems to be working for them, since there is big lack of buyers, because they are all sucked into believing the company based on the shareprice performance has to go bust.

Managed to see a bit of the channel 46 offering last night. It's quite soft stuff and a lot of the screen is taken up with text, but there is absolutely no competition at all for Cellcast on freeview right now, which is excellent news.

For the moment, most people will simply not know about the channel and the EPG slot is in the middle of a load of slots that don't broadcast at night, so most viewers will not even bother to go up that high. Over time, though, I'm sure it will get noticed.

Given that they have zero competition on freeview and a completely new viewer base to market to, there should be an opportunity to make big revenue on freeview.

Maybe at some stage, that channel alone could bring in as much as two or even three channels would do on Sky? An extra £4m or £5m per year? Given that there is very little additional outlay in terms of production costs for the new channel, most of the net revenue on that will drop through to the bottom line.

So, Ofcom aside, the most important thing for the company now is to get margins back to where they were when they came to AIM. Margins used to be 25%, but in the last accounts, they were less than 10% which is clearly not enough

In time, with current UK growth, the new channel, the websites, 3G etc, they could get revenue up to around £20m pa. If they got margins back up to 25% at the same time, we would be looking at £5m net revenue and over £2m+ operating profit

New traders on the sidelines it seems and I can see they can easily take advantage of the price.

sumo.tv could have been really big... but they've ballsed it up big time and it's now an expensive liability. Sell it or fold it asap.

CLTV should now concerntrate on the premium rate 3G services and mucky tv channel filth. There is plenty of money to be made there, certainly enough to make a nice year on year profit with modest growth.

Get this company slimlined, focused and profitable, that's the important thing. The assets in Asia are a nice bonus.

Hi,

Just noticed that Sumo has been moved alongside the latter 900+ channels. (Ch.958)

What might be significant though, is that in the daytime it seems to feature some of the old sumo programming.

Maybe employing all those "bubbly" presenters was too expensive, and I don't see much benefit in adding another output slot for the same content post-9pm, however, it might just hold out the potential that, together with Zeal saying that new material is still being produced, there might still be blood in the original Sumo.tv multi-platform proposition.

Kind regards,

MN

I notice that not many are averaging down, and the last rise to 1.5p on the offer just shows how quickly these go up on little buying.

There are very few shares left for 1.25p, so do not leave it much longer.

if these ever get back to the days of around 10p then i will be staying put tbh, if they manage to come through the worst then i think this company could really go on and make some good money imho. at the moment its a question of will it survive. when that gets answered then we will see how things go.news must be due soon so not too long to wait :)

Looks like the market is trying to reflect some of Cellcasts latest success, and the best of thing is that the market on a whole is picking back up since it is not all about the credit crunch.

In these times of the credit crunch you can not beat 3wayscash.com, as a way of making females a really good extra income. They split 50% of the money they make with Cellcast.

At last, something positive - a quote from Damian, the Cellcast website affiliate manager:

"More sales than ever at 3wayscash.com, ratios are improving weekly, natural traffic is growing massively and just beat our best ever month."

Quote was from 5th August, talking about July's performance. From the looks of the alexa traffic, August may have been quite a bit better. Something for us long-suffering shareholders to cling on to, I guess!

Hi zoo

I contacted them a few weeks ago and they sent me the demo to take a look at.

As far as I'm aware they are still making the content, although I don't think it is a particularly big revenue stream for CLTV

Cheers

Hi,

The analyst, could you please ask zeal, here:
whether content is still being produced?

Kind regards,

zoo123,

The content of sumo.tv is rubbish, the site isn't maintained and only a few videos get uploaded daily by users. I'd be surprised if the content is still being distributed in France.

What is of value at sumo, is the infrastructure, i.e. Website video uploading by users -> T.V. channel output. That is what CLTV should be selling.
