18/3/2020 15:30 | Just a rushed holding statement so best not to look for the fine grain intent. Also no mention of the 3AB well they announced which undoubtedly will be postponed as soon as the Kazakh authorities agree but they are probably busy at the present dealing with bigger fish than Caspian. The worlds gone to hell so I doubt anyone here was looking for a perfect RNS from Clive? | davidblack
18/3/2020 14:24 | Re A5, my opinion. Good news and it would've been released, bad news, that will come with 150 and 153 which will hopefully be positive. 150 has been in the perforating queue for some time and the well has taken a month longer than previous MJF successes. Are they on a go slow and holding back news, i'd say that was a resounding YES. | xclusive2
18/3/2020 14:00 | I assume if there was significant positive news that would impact the share price they would have had to announce it. Bad news must be similar but maybe they could delay on the grounds it is still work in progress. So that suggests it is no news or bad news . | maxim1999
18/3/2020 13:32 | someone already mentioned it but worth repeating... a5 gone missing???? rns mentioned the other three in 2 separate places and on first mention even said "at three of our already drilled BNG deep wells"...so a5 unlikely to be an inadvertent omission. separate update on its way or just hiding bad news? | konil
18/3/2020 12:15 | Yes that boat was a good decision for KO with the benefit of hindsight. But if we are going to be optimistic about the future that boat could well be a nice asset when oil is at $60 post the shale war. | davidblack
18/3/2020 12:03 | deferring salary payments etc when they added 100k a month for the boat. Tough for the employees to understand that | russiaguru
18/3/2020 11:57 | Nice to see them taking the right decisions and in a timely matter. Ok it’s park up time, but where isn’t it. At least these guys have a plan and can wait it out. Plus on the other side after the heavy oil, old high cost offshore and 80% of the US shale are gone prices should be nicely higher. I wonder if they might pick up some distressed acreage at know down prices for a few shares? | davidblack
18/3/2020 11:32 | Bought another 50k this morning... | control1
18/3/2020 10:46 | Personally I think you've got to load up down here till you creak .... That was a cracking RNS from CASP - you wait until the other Oillies - apart from BP and Shell i'm not including those two and they will only bag once on any recovery towards year end. Once the rest of them and I include RRE and its cash pile in that start throwing out profit warning RNS they will be shutting in their best fields, handing back others that aren't suited - it will be carnage out there. Little old CASP with its 1500 - 4000 bopd where ever it gets to lets say worst ways, no deeps flow and only one new MJF well so 1500 bopd at break even will be in a great position to 4 bag the instant economic recovery comes back and Opec put their handbags away .... | georgesorearse
18/3/2020 10:41 | off, yet on topic. For those of you concerned about the Corona virus, this is an interesting article from the German magazine 'Der Spiegel' (The Mirror). hxxps://www.spiegel. | pendragon2
18/3/2020 10:04 | With the markets calming, people are going to start closing their shorts and either taking profits or reinvesting elsewhere. Once that starts, more and more shorters will have to follow. Interesting to see how big the bounce will be on some of these smaller cap cos. Buy to hold on quality, buy to trade on the rest? | pendragon2
18/3/2020 10:03 | February 2014____Tenge was 150 to the US$ March 2019_______Tenge was 378 to the US$ January 2020_____Tenge was 378.56 to the US$ March 2020_______Tenge is _441 to the US$ ' CASP shares are even better value for our Long Term Kazak Investors | togglebrush
18/3/2020 09:54 | well im calling the bottom here - well done all those that grabbed a few at 2.5p - reckon we will re rate to a more sensible level for the next couple of years - 5p range - no higher , reflecting the ongoing coronavirus and related oil prices. | jostrummer
18/3/2020 09:46 | I note we have celebrity on board now, what with our Depp wells... | control1
18/3/2020 09:19 | any bad news on a5 surely they would have stuck it in this, never a better time to bury terrible ops news. | jostrummer
18/3/2020 09:15 | Very puzzling that there is no mention of A5 as this would have provided insight on whether the acid job is having any effect | robertjbeck
18/3/2020 09:13 | bottom found? | jostrummer
18/3/2020 09:03 | Looks like income will be coming from 150 and 153 soon! So that should mean an additional 700-800 bopd? | swerves1
18/3/2020 09:02 | No debt couldn't be in a better position given the circumstances | steveh8
18/3/2020 09:01 | I actually believe he's forgotten a paragraph, a case of out of sight out of mind I suspect. | xclusive2
18/3/2020 08:57 | Yes. The absence of any mention of A5 is odd. Doesn't feel like a case of 'no news is good news' | dhb368
18/3/2020 08:52 | no mention of A5. | russiaguru
18/3/2020 08:50 | That's one of the best releases I've seen from Clive. Deferring salaries and mothballing ops until oil price moves, well done Clive ? | xclusive2
18/3/2020 08:45 | It's all about timing. That's my 187000 buy half an hour ago. Then we get a drop Not concerned. There's NO bad news imo. Happy to wait Must be near bottom | rutter
18/3/2020 08:03 | Just did a dummy buy. Can buy over 190000 at 2.6. Wow. That's a juicy price | rutter |
