Hi bull. Thanks for your reply. I think the merger news will be the start of the good news and the last rns may well be the start of more good news. Still green behind the ears at the moment with regards to casp. But I'm a quick learner. Will be acquiring more shares along the way. Goodluck for the future.

also worth noting the company has to sell current production locally at $16. june next year they will sell export, so revenues will get a 3 fold uplift with op around $50. and hopefully production will be much higher then.

where to start to be honest!

its all about the deeps, A5 , A6, 801 (in that order)
there is high quality sulfur free oil at all, its just a case of extraction

that said the shallows are starting to look interesting too, v conservative valuation ~23p if the deeps flow, anything is possible.

been a long few years but looks like now is the time with a new name and new PR strategy.

toggle, i know that's the company line, but returns could have been adjusted to compensate those parts of the business that were making the investments. with licence time precious and ticking away and much to be done on a potentially huge asset to prove up as much as possible before expiry, i just cannot see the business sense in a go slow. in any case the merger on its own will not solve the cash needs, i just hope they have enough to deliver the results they are promising this qtr.

Delay in investment in BNG was that it was a joint venture with Baverstock who were not able to pay their part of the development costs after January 2015. Original agreement was that RXP paid first US$ 100 million of development costs up to that date (which covered initial costs of first deep well A5 and spud of second deep well 801).

Baverstock would have BENEFITED from any increase in production for making NO PAYMENT towards development cost. This situation will soon be resolved with the merger.
'
MERGER onwards means all profit from development returns to new merged company who pay the costs.

bull, hope so but still need kaz clearance for merger, and imo deep news will be at later rather than sooner in the qtr...didn't sound like they had started side track or other remedial works...everything seemed to be 'imminent'. why the months and months and months of delay on an asset which has so much potential? doesn't make sense to me. so hope it is different this time and they get it done but who knows!

Lots of ISA trades, yes, but they are sell and buy back transactions.

Original shallow wells on the Yelemes block ie 54,806,807 were Soviet wells and 806,807 are only delivering 210 bopd total & 54 was P&a'd. I believe they intersected 5 zones on the previous wells but they were much shallower, this is a new structure and it will be interesting to see the oil horizon depths, if there is oil obviously. I

Hoping that it's more akin to MJF structure and the healthy returns of 600bopd and even better if some of those horizons are deeper.

No cigar yet but we should have news within next week or so.

Stars are aligning in CaspiSun favour. Looks to me that things are picking up for investors in that part of the world. The President is signaling a transition to his successor, and the process imo is well under way. After the surprisingly peaceful transition of power in Uzbekistan he has activated his plan with some confidence that it will also happen in Kz, more powers to the parliament and prime minster, he lets slip that no family member will be next president, certainly the appearance of greater democracy while real power has been carefully negotiated and held by the ruling tribes imho dyor....
Banking system finally being addressed with the "final Solution" for Qazkom.
Hi visibility crackdown on corruption (amongst lower ranking officials at least).
Easing of the Contract terms for new investors in the pipeline.
This could be the year for BNG!

Bull, Only success will propel this and that's what we want. If a new discovery it's great news and the BNG acreage is starting to deliver. How much is actually there and how much more than original seismic ? hopefully billions ?
