Thank you JG. 21...lol, i'd love to go back in time but i'm happy with my 56 with loads of good years to come.

Re our Casper, we WILL have a good year this year but i'm expecting a few bumps in the road. Yelemes is a new exploration target rather than appraisal so success would be great for confidence and our P2 number. Would be a great start if this came in.

They should know what they have by now and we'll know this week. Any delays to an announcement is likely to be bad news and they could drag things out and include with a positive deep announcement. I'm sure the company will be desperate to kick off with good news to herald the change of name and new beginning BUT this is OE and nothing guaranteed unfortunately.

It's my birthday today and the sun has definitely risen this morning, let's hope we don't wait too long for ole Casper to do the same.

tog, some more quiet reflection.

currently casp are bringing in $16 x 1500bopd x 360 = $8.6m p.a. from sales into the local market.

in june 2018 assuming 80% of all production goes export and further assuming they are producing 1500bopd + say additional 1000bopd from on-going shallow campaign + say additional 2500bopd from 1 deep = total 5000bopd, and 80% export at say $45 assuming op stays around current levels, then revenue will be c.$70m. that's some serious dosh which properly managed should enable massive investment in bng asset.

that's exciting, but the real excitement if they achieve it will be what it means for the underlying reserves which enable that level of production - i still think the 700 they are aiming for is unrealistic, but 300 may be likely. that's a tenfold increase in p2.

next few months should make it clearer where casp will be at june 2018.

I do find it odd that this isn't flying at this stage on expectation of great news, oh just realised we've been here numerous times already ! Actually that's a little harsh, we've never been in this exact situation with various assets so close to a conclusive outcome. Bull,Last bed n Isa trade cleared 144k shares today so everything now in the ISA and the Mrs and co.Discovery or not next week for 808 and even if bad news it won't dent sp, if it does buy some more pre the deeps ?N

disagree on 'neutral' effect of large trades.

if it is a single large buy, its usually made up of smaller sells facilitated by mms because its unlikely one mm will have all the stock being bought. and of course people will have sold that stock to the mm's in smaller trades. but the point is there is 1 buyer who is confident enough to purchase a large amount. hence the overall impact should be positive on sentiment.

the converse holds true if it is 1 large sell.


anyway, whatever it was, i agree with all here the potential remains tremendous.

Forget looking at whether it's a buy or sell it's the volume and the price it goes thru at that is relevant. I have bought more at 10.75 yesterday. I had a very meeting on the company when the shares were 12p. I am confident they are worth more than this in the long term with no news. Suggesting with good news we go significantly higher and there is some support on the downside if we get disappointing news.

Large buys ? Large sells? Just counteracting each other. 1p up or down makes no difference at the moment. It will remain like this until news good or bad appears. It's not IF but WHEN it happens.you long term holders certainly deserve being rewarded for your patience that's for sure. Have a great four day break. Casp will still be here on Tuesday. Going to Barcelona for three days sun sea and good food/wine. G/luck.

Toggle great stats. On another point for every buy there is a sell. And vice versa. So why bother discussing whether the 625,000 is either? There is always the offset on the side.

i do hope the story plays out that way, and this time it should lead to a sustained rise rather than the frustrating slide back in following sessions, its been a very long wait.

one question mark though, i cannot see the trade on advfn so i guess its reported elsewhere. i wonder if it was a 'late reported' trade, in which case it may have been a sell? my wariness is due to the seemingly large float of shares available over the last 3 days or so.

It seems to take a while to fill there large orders. Can't be many shares floating around at the moment. Maybe a good sign for news. Somebody trying hard to grab as many as possible before next news. IMO G/LUCK ALL.
