The latest RNS said up to 3 new deep wells, only A8 has been given a spud date and this is on a well that has already had its spud date put back and rescheduled....so nothing new there just a delay on what we had been promised.

MJF production reduced from the expected 4000 bopd that would have paid for deep explorations and mjf infill programme and A8 one year ago down to the 1700 bopd on smaller choke setting to avoid further water contact.

Leaving us requiring more of Kuat / Kairats money and their terms for dilution once 3AB concert party has been absorbed to add to Baverstocks previous dilution.

Realise I pi55 some off by saying if im buying or selling but damned if you do/dont with Casp...........

Just stop going on about it particularly from your point of view there are other people who brexit will benefit. There is no need to bring it onto this board.
IMHO a new vote would be a disaster and probaly Leave win again.

Europe could collapse over Italy let alone the Eastern states that are rebelling over merkels demands they fill the country with migrants.
Its not important for Europes growth its holding it back as its built around ensuring german (banking) dominance of the area thats all.
The long term good lol suppose that sounds better than "the greater good" at least.

There are many things that need to change in Europe but it is certainly not a basket case. It will not collapse and will continue to grow. The idea of the European Union is important for the long term good of all the countries involved. Its a shame the UK is leaving but the choice has been made so we need to just get on with it.

If you can see the bigger picture, it really doesn't matter. It was a good rns and we have a bright future. As DB said, all the signs are there. There is a bigger plan and we must wait patiently for things to fall into place. We will get 801 and A5 news soon. Not much more to do on those Wells.

Hi George I am a bit more positive on that timeline. Once the approvals are received and the acquisition completed I think we might get a lot of action on the shallow MJF structure. That cashflow will then find the deeps at $35 a barrel.

It could get interesting here pretty quickly post approval.

GeorgeSoreAss - 1-2% water nothing to worry about usually. Depends on the formation, location and all sorts of things. Hopefully spangle or someone equally in the know about such matters can offer further reassurance on that front though!

H2S is certainly a concern given the proximity of Tengiz. But they were well aware of the possibility years ago and were ready for it in the earlier deeps.

Well possibly A8 might have the fireworks, very deep and hopefully no noxious gas al Tengiz! But hopefully 1% of their oil.

Just a small thought, it feels like everything that might give us a quick uptick is on hold until the “12p” acquisition is completed. But for that to happen they need licence transfer approvals. I wonder if that is the big reason for the lack of major action here? Maybe Mr Carver is not the villain here? More of a monkey with the organ grinder back in Kazakhstan?

Just a thought?
