14/1/2004 13:48 | Stocks at 31 October 2003: £1,181,516 Stocks at 31 October 2002: £1,435,515 i.e. stocks at 31 October 2003 are 18% lower than last year. Doesn't bode well for the second half (as stocks = future sales). Also the second half has historically been seasonally worse than the first half year. My personal view is that they could go down to 30p. | forensic
14/1/2004 13:14 | Historical support level of 40p seems to be holding up. Watching with interest. If it falls any further I think I might have a punt. | jdhurry
14/1/2004 12:10 | Had to sell out first thing too, lost my profits but came out unscathed. Dreadful results | abbo64120
14/1/2004 11:52 | £10 per sq ft in the area they are would be my guess. | a0002577
14/1/2004 11:29 | 'Further regular revenue can be expected as of 1 December 2003 from a successful long term leasing of 12,000 sq ft of surplus warehouse space' Can anyone hazard a guess as to how much per annum Cassidy can expect to receive for 12,000 sq ft? | hugepants
14/1/2004 11:13 | A0002577.Sold mine at 48p,to a very reluctant MM! | drw1
14/1/2004 10:35 | drw1 - Are you contemplating buying more ? Could be a good long term punt. PErsonally I would rather buy HRN - who do seem to have a winner. The facial games plan seems to be a stab at getting a world beater like HRN's Steam product. Most of their stuff is rather tacky and I wouldn't buy it for my kids | a0002577
14/1/2004 10:33 | You're right the results are rubbish. I dont understand how Butch Cassidy can say trading is 'bouyant' then release this nonsense. Bottom line though, market cap is well under 3M now, company is profitable, pays a dividend and the outlook is positive. There is also a freehold worth 30p on the balance sheet. I sold half of mine earlier this year at 60p but still hold 10K which I wont be selling at this price. In fact I may try and buy some more if price drops much more. cheers. | hugepants
14/1/2004 10:11 | I'm out. Results very disappointing. At the time of the last results the Chairman stated "Sales are buoyant". The reality is that sales fell 29%!!! Difficult to believe anything the Chairman says, given previous over optimistic statements. | forensic
14/1/2004 09:34 | A good few positives in results.Looks like we can expect a stong second half, revenue from cadburys contract, rental income from warehouse and this new sculpture product sounds interesting and unique.Importantly this new product will have patent protection. Then a divi of .75p with the likelyhood of a maintained final of 2p. | drw1
14/1/2004 09:17 | RNS just out. | scaleyman
14/1/2004 09:02 | Buyers return pre-results.I still don't know the date.Just hope the strong pound low UK overheads and future rental income are enough to get the stock re-rated.No idea myself what to expect but I am still in. | gamblinman
13/1/2004 08:12 | Results/Toy fair draws near expect some action soon. | drw1
09/1/2004 21:22 | Interims due in the next couple of weeks. Very quiet this year. Any views on what we can expect? | simonevans
08/1/2004 20:43 | Tried to contact Paul Cassidy today to find out when results are being released but he is in Hong Kong at the toy fair.Anyone know the date? | gamblinman
08/1/2004 12:52 | 4.13k dabbler this morning? Welcome. | scaleyman
06/1/2004 09:05 | Might expect some interest on this one soon.London Toy Fair starts 29th when they will unvail some new products apparently less susceptable to being copied(the major problem they have encountered in the past)Profits should also be higher this year with trading "boyant" and presumably no extra pension top ups to make. | drw1
24/12/2003 14:39 | Happy Christmas to all holders (and lurkers too). 2004 looms large on the horizon, may it bring us all good fortune & keep us safe from harm. Amen. | scaleyman
19/12/2003 15:41 | Why sell so close to the results?Having been patient for so long I see no point in selling withinn a month of the results. If you look at the last property valuation in 1998 then the 2002 value tell me how much it went up in those 4 years. I still think the property alone is worth 40p plus.Any views? | gamblinman
11/12/2003 08:43 | Taken from Investtech.com Watch (Medium term) - Dec 10, 2003 Has fallen 40% since the peak on 13 Jan 2003 at 99.50. Shows a strong development within a rising trend channel. A further positive development is indicated, and there is support against the floor of the trend channel. Has met the objective at 59.92 after a break of a double bottom formation. The price has now fallen, but the formation indicates further rise. The stock has support at p 50.00. Backs up what the chart suggests (to a novice) Regards Abbo | abbo64120
10/12/2003 08:35 | One thing that has particularly impressed me this year is the strength in depth that CASDON now have with their range. In the last chairmans report PC made several references to quality new products that CADSON would be launching, I am pleased to see he has delivered. BB | bbinvest
08/12/2003 16:50 | Totally agree with you both, I am really looking forward to the coming results, loads of new quality products and now the possibilty of a decent rental income to look forward to. No to mention the possible re-valuation of the Buildings and Land. Regards Abbo | abbo64120
08/12/2003 09:54 | A.D. Usually Mid-Jan for results.Must agree with you it looked like a way of starting a clean sheet and who likes paying tax. | gamblinman |
