Shouldn't be many kids on later his week - we always avoid school holidays when we can.

Did you have the opera singer both times? Opera, sausages (their attempt at English sausages is fantastic), smoked salmon (best quality on any cruise we've been on), brilliant shows - incredible. Haven't told the wife yet, but we may stay on for an extra week, seen the price advertised at 330 quid balcony for the following week.

I hope you're not expecting a Fred experience p@. For example, I saw many people under 85 on the virtuosa last time. About 8000 of them in fact!

Pans, checkout a pizza van cooking max 100 pizzas in a field for a wedding. That snack costs me the same as about 19 nights of a cruise!

That's a great deal Sardine. I could eat 57 quids worth of fish and chips from the quays every day! No probs with the food quality for me on the Iona. Main mini concern on iona is some other passengers - a few seem to be pretty downmarket, but that's where the growing market is. Best not to think about how you'll get rescued if it sinks. Big boats or small, they all have their pros and cons imv. 8000 on our msc cruise in 10 days time (if it's full).

Still that's a hell of a deal £800 each for 14 nights in a nice balcony cabin ( grats inc )Check out 2 weeks full board in a 4/5 star Tenerife hotel atm for comparison
