I dont sail on Seabourn if I did retirement would be a dream let alone early retirement being a dream. As i have posted before call me crazy but I love working I enjoy my work it keeps me fit and active still running up ladders all summer when people half my age say wouldnt catch me up there I want a scaffold, early retirement for me would be a nightmare not a dream.
FYI my last sold loss was VRS bought at 44p stop loss hit at 36p, lost around £400 price now 7.6p so would now be losing about £1800 could have been much worse.

Do you sail on Seabourn Sam? The Trader Suite no doubt.

Look mate, we have differing viewpoints because we are in massively different situations. If you're happy doing what you do then fine, but I would think dreams of early retirement will remain just that.

Ironically, you may be the only truthful 'trader' on advfn (and I bet other traders would wish you'd stop telling the truth about your trades). But I expect even you only tell half the truth, and don't mention half your trades which lose you fifty pounds.

You have mentioned many times about how traders lose all their money and other digs about being on a cruise and not meeting any traders on them, this could be because they are on Seabourn or Regent not going to all the art auctions on P & O and Cunard to get a free glass of champagne.
You have said a couple of times about the £30 I made trading ORPH actually if memory serves me right it was £52 but the bit you fail to mention is that I did not sell all my holding I bought 40,000 I sold 18,000 and made £52 profit so I had more cash in my account than when I bought them and also 22,000 shares which cost me nothing and still hold.
Please explain to me how I can lose by trading this way.

Smurf - here’s great educational interview with Professor and Financier Patrick Boyle, at around 22:15 he talks about sums needed to trade for a living and gives some examples of returns. Hopefully you will learn something from it.

jan-mar - that’s exactly what I’ve been saying. If you trade using a leveraged account you will almost certainly lose your money. I don’t use leverage, I buy the stock or underlying instrument.

A 10 or 20k account doesn’t give enough diversified exposure to consistently make an annual salary from, and if you use leverage you will lose. Anyone thinking they can make a living with 10 or 20k is clearly uneducated and watching too many Anton Kreil videos.

smurfy - I didn’t say you need 250k to trade. I said you need 250k to successfully trade for a living. If you attempt to make a living from 10k or 20k you’ll need to achieve a constant several hundred percent per year, which is simply not possible. No trader or fund in history has ever achieved a consistent y-o-y triple digit return, not even Warren Buffet or Jim Simons. You are making yourself look a gullible dreamer.

I’ve a trading corse for sale, it will make you millions every year, send me 500 quid and I’ll email it to you for free, how that for a bargain?

risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 76% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading spread bets and CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how spread bets and CFDs work, and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing

Trader, Your desire to get others to believe your claims shows quite an inferiority complex and a rather puerile attitude. Not sure how important it is for you to convince others compared to convincing yourself.Pontypridd poly?

YOU are the numpty that said you need £250K to trade. This is FALSE. I simply provided a reference disproving this, believe it or not.

I suggest you send $7000 to Thailand then. Why do you think Kreil moved his online video selling shop to Thailand where financial regulation is questionable at best?

kasamavic - I’m not at my screens at the moment and can’t search the document for verification of the exact latest figure. Simply divide the client funds by number of clients and you get the number for 2022.

Smurf - are you sure you are Smurf rather than a clown? I think the latter.

You have just confirmed that Anton Kreil is a Tv and social media personality, he is not a trader and never has been.

Watch the YouTube video I posted for his history. Even the link you posted confirms he is no longer in a role requiring regulatory approval and hasn’t been since 2014; that’s because he sells trading videos from Thailand to gullible idiots like you. Furthermore, he has not been in a role requiring regulatory approval since 2014, the link you posted also confirms he has never been a trader and hasn’t been able to hold down a job for more than 3 years. Go send $7,000 to Thailand for one of his video courses and become a millionaire trader is what I suggest you do. Idiot.
