Enjoy the cruise. It's lovely weather in the south uk atm.

i don't understand drinks packages, they seem to make no sense whatsoever to me. Many say it's for the convenience of not having to watch what you're drinking (therefore sort of accepting they are poor value). But you do have to keep watching what you drink to make sure it in the package you've bought. Almost everyone seems to have a package ime, what a money spinner.

Not done celebrity yet - is it very american?

On the celebrity reflection currently in Livorno - Barcelona to Rome - having a great trip80% full I would say (although one of the older ships in their fleet )Food and service excellent and a notch up on P@OShore excursions super pricey and have also put up drinks packages 25 % I would say In spite of that plenty of take up and future cruise area very busy

To put the current price into perspective, before COVID these were 60 quid each. During COVID, CCL has disposed of the majority of its old or small ships, and bought massive ones. If not for COVID, these would be 120quid now, just applying profit, inventory and pp/es to the pre COVID price.

Buying institutions won't be thinking 'this was cheaper last week', they'll be thinking 'cant believe my luck'.

Of course, the Saudis may also be thinking it's a good time to pounce on the company they kept afloat by pumping in billions during COVID.

Just my views. Probably not what sold out traders want to hear, but there we are.

Btw, I sold all my CCL at the first mention of a new disease on a cruise ship. That's a sell signal imv. Bought most back around the ten quid mark, and still not found a home for much of the cash raised. One of the problems of investing v penny punting.

It's a great trading share.

Assuming a Q2 loss low 700 is my target to re-enter for a trade. Q3 should result in a profit so easy money on the trade one hopes.

Just my view Jan. You keep on buying and selling and ramping then deramping all you like. You'll be in the 80% who lose the lot. Figs from those who supply derivative trading platforms, not me. I find it amazing all the 0% of that 80% are advfn traders, who always win.Due to changed financial regs 3 or 4 years ago, anyone trading might as well hold up a flag 'I am a penny punter'.

You do talk rubbish at times, anyone who bought at 6.50 would now be sat on a 60 percent profit and would be stupid not to take all or some profit now. The buy sell ratio over the last 2 weeks on small volume tells you it is trading that is driving the price up. You have no proof that any institutional investment is on the increase. As for your continued hype about being paid a dividend it is pie in the sky. There will be a sharp drop in share price at some time this month building up to the 2nd quarter results, if all depends on how much the debt will have increased due to high interest rates.

After the big rises of the last couple of days the price will be decided by penny punters taking their profits (although many are probably already out) versus institutions.Situations like this, fallen angels as my investing book calls them, can have rises literally for 2 or 3 years. And btw, all you need to know about share prices is in the beginners book I've had for donkeys' years.

Well it got to my target. So pleased there.

It's broke through a long term trend line dating back to 2021.

There's an upward trend line in the short term (Jul 2022) and we've yet to reach the upper trend line of this. Keeping an eye. RSI overbought.

Be interesting to see an update on the short interest.

I can't see them paying a dividend any time soon. It's had a good run of late but profits will be taken in the run up to the end of June. Still very much a trading share

Pierre, I reduced @ 940.xx still holding long term position.

There's still a hefty short position of 14.65%.

Will re-add at a lower price assuming a Q2 loss.

As for negative posts LOL! I posted targets before.

The ships are sailing full now. Just do a bofp to see what that means for cash in and profits. Remember most small ships are gone or moved to premium brands. Big ships are monster moneymakers. Divi soon again imv.
