19/5/2008 10:26 | 2.5m tons within 18 months/2 years, as prackens mentioned..that transforms CLN's outlook at a stroke | captain kurt
19/5/2008 10:24 | Online limits suggest this is about to move higher | captain kurt
19/5/2008 10:19 | Fellow investors: Go to CBM thread, tune in from posts 7051 to 7057---brilliant case presented for CLN who unfortunately has been strapped down by present predicament; strapped by CBM barring possibility of a worthy knight entering, as yet! IMV. | ppowerscourt
19/5/2008 07:48 | FWIW I see CBM at 2.50 near term.Hence its clear(idiot proof clear) presentation for the city fund managers ie you buy CBM and we are going to be worth 4.00 nav when we sell WTN.I thought 2.20 4 for 1.After reading this I am thinking 2.70 4 for 1.The company knows that it must pay 50p and some and has agreed to this imo but until CBM matures we will not get the offer. | volvo
18/5/2008 21:53 | Well bubface, as the offer will be an all paper deal (no cash according to CBM) it would have been a more expensive deal, at 40p, for CBM a few months back because they would have had to issue more CBM shares since the CBM share price was a lot lower then. CBM, by waiting for their share price to rise, are going to be getting CLN cheaper, even if they pay a higher price (in cash terms), because they will issue less shares. | papillon
18/5/2008 20:59 | has to be worth over 60p therefore it looks like a 3 for 1,or maybe some cash or ebg distribution to make it up.if they are holding a loaded gun to the independents head why did they not just do a fete a complete months back at 40p?? | bubface
18/5/2008 20:52 | You are probably right VOLVO. CBM are holding a loaded gun at the head of the independent director; ask for too much and we will walk away. 50-55p is my feeling. | papillon
18/5/2008 20:00 | Interesting Bub.It clearly states that WTN will be sold.It clearly says that CLN will be bought out(but not at any price).Me thinks about 55p.They need us but we need them.Think this deal is sorted. | volvo
18/5/2008 11:06 | from cbm website of interest re cln and overall assets of cbm.nice that cbm is doing a roadshow during the bid period to puff up it's own stock when it's still radio silence from cln. | bubface
18/5/2008 08:54 | Next week then CK? | reghollis
18/5/2008 00:48 | UBS buy another 100k. Someone at UBS thinks these are cheap at this price | captain kurt
16/5/2008 21:26 | BTW bought these at 36p felt smug at 50p 8 days later, now less so! Do hold more CBM though so i guess i could end up being the rapist! hey ho if anyones looking for a "safe" resource play take a look at CYNW the warrants are cheaper than the share! and the share is trading @ 15% discount to NAV on very liquid underlying stocks. Nice, have a few. No advice intended. cheers all | jonnyboy1
16/5/2008 21:22 | haha sorry might be too cryptic i.e the nine doing the raping enjoy it ;) anyway nuff said. taxi! | jonnyboy1
16/5/2008 16:22 | lol jonny would'nt be knowing and hope i never find out by the way is that for women or for pufters hanging around public loos | budevenwiser
16/5/2008 16:12 | bud, remember that statistics show that 9 out of ten people enjoy gang rape | jonnyboy1
16/5/2008 15:15 | LOL, budevenwiser. Funny how one's own psyche becomes so very sensitive when a mental concept is being held and when there is any kind of delay to the concept being materialized, one's (my) mind goes into overdrive. Likewise I'm all in jitters and am beginning to question the origin of the bandied '60p', 2.5or3 for 1, stalemate talk possibly folding, how-to-settle-NNE-wi Wass, see you at Altona bb. | ppowerscourt
16/5/2008 15:07 | bud me too. | brian1944
16/5/2008 14:31 | like i said the other day mm's walking this down for ubs to mop up weak holders some good support a penny down where we broke out at 42p also take a look at the 3 month candlestick chart with the 20 dma , has gone back down on every rise to just touch thru it by a penny guess where the 20 dma is smack on 42p nearly time for a top up for me | budevenwiser
16/5/2008 14:13 | pp - its on the Altona board Watching some of the TV coverage I noted how green and lush the area is, with a lot of crops. Who will harvest them now? Again this adds to enormous pressures on resourecs generally from food, to coal, to cement. | wassapper
16/5/2008 12:16 | see ubs added 100k. keep on buying. | brian1944
16/5/2008 11:08 | Wass, which Chinese miner/location/link are you referring to? Please. I like to take a look. regards, pp | ppowerscourt
16/5/2008 10:12 | wtn is not toppy - it may move around a bit, but a 100% increase from here is not out of the question given forecast earnings. Sad to say the Chinese earthquake is likley to add to coal price pressure as many mines have been closed, some miners killed and over 150 trapped as far as I can tell. | wassapper
16/5/2008 08:29 | with WTN looking a bit toppy and any fall in that will have an appropriate knock on effect with CBM we could be looking at a 5 for 2 or even 2 for 1 here. | reghollis
15/5/2008 23:00 | Well from previous posts on here they seem to be more positive of a deal, and also that one has been all sorted already too. But surely that would require a rns to be released.....mmm "Captain Kurt - 12 May'08 - 20:26 - 2503 of 2548 ALL, I am led to believe that our independent director has done a good deal...a little more patience...we will find out very soon...it is not 4:1 ! VOLVO - 13 May'08 - 07:50 - 2505 of 2548 pap fwiw I talked to the sole adviser to the independant director,Cenkos, and asked how determined was Randy Eppler to get a fair deal from CBM.He said they recognised the value within CLN and were putting the case for fair value robustly.I got the "wait and see" statement also. Captain Kurt - 13 May'08 - 12:33 - 2512 of 2548 This week or next week at the latest imo" | sportbilly1976 |
