15/5/2008 17:24 | Bubface, where are you? | ppowerscourt
15/5/2008 13:59 | You could say it looks like the price is 60p ( 3 for 1 ) the way the CBM price is stuck in the 190s despite WTNs increasing shareprice. All depends on your slant. | reghollis
15/5/2008 13:44 | Looks like the market thinks its going to be 4 for 1 the way the share price is stuck at 44.5p VOLVO. At current CBM share price that gives 48p. If, as seems likely, CBM reaches at least £2.20 over next week, or so, that will give at least 55p. | papillon
15/5/2008 12:33 | I do know there will not be an update until the offer is completed one way or the other. | volvo
15/5/2008 12:06 | anyone have the email address for the "impartial" exec? | pictureframe
15/5/2008 12:01 | It would be a bit more fun if there was a genuine bid from another coal player. At the apparent massive discount to the value of the coal in the ground, I'd have thought a power generator might like to buy the whole of CLN as their private supply for a few years. Right now £1 a share would get it hands down. | lefrene
15/5/2008 11:48 | agree 100% they have the deal done already just waiting for CBM shareprice to trigger the RNS. It would be great if the share price for CBM just flounders for a few more weeks as the CLN trading update must have to be released soon. Maybe we should all be putting pressure on the board to release the trading update?? Funny but I suspect they will be reluctant to do so ;0) | pictureframe
15/5/2008 11:21 | reg I know nothing. It just makes sense and thats how I would do it. | volvo
15/5/2008 11:12 | Volvo is that your feeling or do you know something? TIA | reghollis
15/5/2008 10:44 | Worth noting these companies share offices.Eppler goes to the Cambrian christmas party. They share secretaries. The directors of CBM are on the board of CLN.Its a closed shop end off. | volvo
15/5/2008 10:39 | picture yes I agree. The negociations are not on going at all imo. They are agreed. The offer will be triggered when CBM share price reaches the appropriate level. Staying with 4 for 1 at 2.20p giving 55p. By the way.Think CBM will be 2.50p in the following weeks that would give 62.5p. | volvo
15/5/2008 08:39 | come on when will this be finally be agreed - I personally feel CBM are stalling waiting for the share price to rise above £2 . I still hope this all falls through | pictureframe
15/5/2008 08:33 | base on turnover and interm report in jun/feb. | brian1944
15/5/2008 07:58 | lol. you post some nonsensical rubbish, then have the cheek to say dyor. My point is - are you making these figures up, or are you basing them on something? | gb904150

14/5/2008 16:49 | Would you care to elaborate? Or are you just rambling? :) | gb904150
14/5/2008 16:44 | cln will be in profit by june 08. lost 12mill june 07 lost in jun/feb 08 was down to 2mill | brian1944
14/5/2008 16:39 | pbracken - you ask me why? You seem to suggest that CLN's rise is purely down to bid speculation, whereas WTN (and thus CBMs) rise is due to genuine outing of value as coal markets tighten, pricing improves, forward contracts are announced and as both the current and long-term picture for coal has become much rosier. As I mentioned before - every coal miner that I look at has practically doubled in value since January. Yet you seem to think that CLN having doubled is almost all due to bid speculation, but that CBM still genuinely undervalued. I appreciate the 'more met vs thermal' argument and the 'West Virginia isn't achieving coal spot prices' argument....but I refuse to believe that CLN would be trading at this level had they been allowed to update market on their progress and their current take of the (admitttedly more localised) coal market. If it goes down, I will buy more CLN. CBM want it and will look like t*ts if they can't negotiate a price successfully. CBM will offer a fair price around the 60p mark imo. CBM paper is attractive, but not as attractive as it was when they were at 150p when negotiations started. That's my take on it anyway. Regards GB | gb904150
14/5/2008 14:45 | Smith and will investment picked up another 100k yesterday. Hmmm | captain kurt
14/5/2008 14:44 | Ticking up again. | papillon
14/5/2008 13:34 | Perhaps your wish could come true GB. Perhaps CBM/CLN cant come to an amicable arrangement and the bid doesnt materialise? | papillon
14/5/2008 13:34 | Agreed Paps. Probably a few T traders being shafted. | reghollis
14/5/2008 13:30 | I think its dropping because of the boredom factor; nothing happening!! | papillon
14/5/2008 13:28 | Its dropping. Mid price now 43.75p. | papillon |
