16/1/2023 07:43 | started a thread for WIHL. | russman
16/1/2023 07:34 | Dont know how JP can still offer a quote for CIHL. It has been acquired by WIHL. | russman
29/12/2022 19:36 | "I suspect that JPJenkins will offer them for 36p a share." Why would anyone pay 36GBX per share when the last share price was 26.50. There are several bargains to to be made on JPJ but all at a , probably, unrealistic price. I would keep hold of them and see where the dividend takes us. | gazzleberry
25/12/2022 10:14 | See the WIHL website for more details, shareholders notice. They are consolidating the register of shareholders before issuing the dividend. | horace678
25/12/2022 08:18 | Did that dividend ever arrive? | gazzleberry
10/11/2022 01:38 | for the sake of argument, cihl & wihl are valued equally (e.g EV) The share exchange at 1.25 does give a large implied premium to CIHL. Basically it is saving Ash some overheads in the short term. In the longer term, Ash must be tempted to extract more value from WIHL. Latin America edible oils looks a bit isolated. | russman
30/10/2022 07:46 | EK We spoke the other week about some WIHL shares that I have for sakle. I suspect that JPJenkins will offer them for 36p a share. You're welcome to buy mine at that price if you are still interested - not a bad price considering that the NAV is around 95p per share and there is a dividend coming in December. Please let me know if you decide to proceed as I would need to contact my broker. Regards Horace | horace678
26/10/2022 01:42 | I suspect Ash will be consolidating his investments more & more as his retirement looms. | russman

05/10/2022 16:10 | You could also ask the company if they (or any directors) wish to buy them. | russman
03/10/2022 17:21 | Anyone knows what this means for the Cihl shareholders? Is the old Cihl share still worth anything or is it all embezzled by those corporate actions designed to rob the small shareholders. | riskvsreward

22/9/2022 15:03 | I am now the owner of 29k shares in WIHL which I have held either as WIHL or CIHL for many years. Is anyone interested in buying them if I make them available on Jenkins? I would normally continue holding but I might need the cash. | horace678

12/12/2021 00:10 | I have, or had, a small holding (worth a lot less now if was still on AIM)via iWeb, which was for holding long-term; however I have no idea how to get a share cert, or transfer / validate this holding elsewhere, if anyone has any information on doing so that would be much appreciated? | richardly
11/12/2021 22:48 | Yes, it will be quiet. My instinct says that the price had been kept low deliberately to buy out as many PIs out as cheaply as possible. With Scotiabank and the possible repatriation of a sizable chunk of funds I get the feeling that, at some point, the share price will be revised. I got my hare certificate today. | gazzleberry |
