29/11/2017 09:35 | Worth chasing down your Midway shares. If Gov pays. If Ashcroft pays. May be worth approx. 33c per share. | russman
28/11/2017 11:03 | Russman, I think the management of the nominee company had a duty to advise their beneficial clients that certificates had been sent back to the registrars. Simon Cawkwell | simon cawkwell
28/11/2017 09:49 | Seems a lame excuse. Should have used paper certificates like in the old days. | russman
27/11/2017 14:14 | Gentlemen, It is this morning suggested that the reason that some CIHL shareholders who are eligible have not received their Midway shares is that Midway registrars indeed issued certificates which were in effect rejected by brokers on behalf of their nominee interests since Midway is not Crest-enabled. As a result some of these certificates found their way back to Midway. Of course the GOB has yet to pay up. Simon Cawkwell | simon cawkwell
24/11/2017 10:03 | Yes thanks Russman, i've still not heard back from my broker regarding the Midway shares. The RNS from 08/06/17 also stated: 'More information on the Dividend will be set out in a circular expected to be posted to CIHL shareholders on or around 9 June 2017 (the "Circular"), which will also be available to view in due course on the Company’s website at Curiously this circular never appeared. At best it's all very poor from CIHL. | sweetnodude
24/11/2017 09:49 | That clears things up for me...i'll be avoiding this one thanks. | pre
24/11/2017 09:05 | The benefit of this award accrues to Midway according to the last Annual Report Notes. I received 1:1 Midway shares. | russman
23/11/2017 15:14 | OK letmepass/falia Answer these questions SVP 1. Which company gets the award? CIHL or Midway? Answer Midway IMO. 2. Does CIHL own Midway? Answer no - Midway shares were distributed in specie as a dividend in June IMO. 3. Does CIHL get anything from this at all? Answer NO IMO. DYOR. | eezymunny
23/11/2017 15:13 | Judging by the trades gone through today, majority have sold at a loss! | pre

23/11/2017 14:54 | It's a company.. Raises funds etc.. You are clueless as what is happening.. Sit on the sidelines and watch | letmepass
23/11/2017 14:51 | letmepass It's up 17% on a piece of news which doesn't in any way benefit the company AIUI. Why do you say "low prices". Pitiful IMO. | eezymunny
23/11/2017 14:51 | Not a bad entry.. | letmepass
23/11/2017 14:45 | Me too sweet but tempted to buy more at these low prices | letmepass
23/11/2017 14:37 | I got caught out last time it spiked and retraced so this time I made a bit on the way up and a bit more on the way down. Now where did I put that Midland cert... ;o) | sweetnodude

23/11/2017 14:10 | As a result of these actions by GOB, in January and March 2017 BBL waived and relinquished its rights under the Award and Judgments, leaving CIHL with the sole rights to the Award and Judgments. Also as a consequence of this legislation and subsequent proceedings in the Belize Courts (as described in more detail in the Circular), the Board of Directors of CIHL approved the assignment of the Award and Judgments, and the Dividend | letmepass
23/11/2017 14:04 | It's spelled out here www.investegate.co.u Be very careful reading the nonsense posted by the usual ramp mob. This money, if collected, goes to Midway, not CIHL AIUI. | eezymunny
23/11/2017 13:59 | This long outstanding debt arises from funds originally advanced by the Bank as part of the Belize Government's policy of healthcare reform in Belize. The Bank's debt has been confirmed by an international arbitral tribunal, the Privy Council, the courts of the United States, and now the Caribbean Court of Justice. The Company looks forward to the Government of Belize finally settling this debt after years of unnecessary litigation to recover the funds. | letmepass
23/11/2017 13:55 | I think sweetnodude is correct. Buying CIHL here will not entitle you to anything of this award IIRC. The award goes to owners of Midway shares - those were distributed some time ago. Be careful IMO. DYOR. | eezymunny
23/11/2017 13:33 | mm's in control here..plenty selling at a loss... | pre
