29/10/2021 17:17 | Cash in now before the share price drops! | horace678
29/10/2021 17:16 | They will be transferred to JPJenkins where it will be tough to trade them. I would sell your holding now. The company is simultaneously buying back the shares that investors are selling which is keeping the share price buoyant | horace678
29/10/2021 15:44 | OK - so what will happen to my CIHL shares which are in an ISA? Will I still be able to hold them after they delist from AIM? TiA | toffeeman
04/10/2021 13:57 | Are not those large trades merely the buybacks RNSd? | toffeeman
04/10/2021 13:02 | There must be some bulls of CIHL trapped in the coral. Some may take the buyback as a chance to reduce their holding and one may have already done so unloading 2 x100,000 shares and 1 x 150,000. | noirua
24/9/2021 12:14 | Surging a little. Is the share buyback bolstering and raising the price? If so, could go up some distance. | rightnellie
24/9/2021 11:17 | They have only gone up, as the markets heard Monty had sold, thrown in the towel lol | ny boy
23/9/2021 13:54 | If you were going to propose a £2 million share buyback, why on earth would to declare a dividend beforehand ? The only dividend so far was in response to lapsed options that gave an accounting reason to allow it. | solero23
23/9/2021 08:46 | Good progress with CIHL - the 2 million buyback should have a positive effect on the share price. The bank seems to be improving systems and getting their act together. Significantly undervalued - should be double current share price imo - bought some more today! | rightnellie
23/9/2021 08:40 | My holding in CIHL is quite low as it looks to be a long hold. The low share price for some time and lack of trading was quite off putting but being in plus territory adds confidence. The buyback of £2 million would not be as cheap had they declared a dividend. | noirua
14/9/2021 13:11 | Will these ever pay a dividend in the near term. I sold out when they stopped, always keep a eye on it, just in case dividend comes back. | montyhedge
20/8/2021 11:44 | CIHL is now at my floor guess of a while back in the range 28p - 37p. Nothing for a while from one of the largest holders after his Lordship, namely EK: No doubt he bought many of his shares at very low prices and may still be in plus territory. In this market, it is difficult to sell in quantity so he is locked in - probably not minding anyway. Where to now? I haven't a clue and I leave that to wiser investors/punters of planet tax avoiders and others. | noirua
03/8/2021 09:52 | June 1, 2021 U.K. Billionaire’s Daughter-In-Law Charged With Police Officer Shooting In Belize: Reports The daughter-in-law of British-Belizean billionaire Michael Ashcroft has been charged with manslaughter by negligence after a police officer in Belize died from a gunshot injury on Friday, according to reports from the local media. | noirua
03/8/2021 09:47 | 1 April 2021: Belize City / April 1, 2021 – Scotiabank announced today that it has completed the previously announced sale of its banking operations in Belize to Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited (“CIHL”) – the holding company that owns and operates The Belize Bank Limited (“Belize Bank”). As a result of this transaction, Scotiabank (Belize) Ltd. will be renamed Belize Bank Corporation Limited. | noirua
03/8/2021 09:42 | It looks at the moment that CIHL is still in slow recovery mode as EK's aspirations were struck below the waterline by a mighty fish. 28p to 37p still looks like a fair trading range with a move either way depending on banking news. All quiet at just below the foot of Mexico with any diversification away from Belize looking to have been mistimed. | noirua
29/7/2021 11:50 | Noirua - 23 Dec 2020 - 13:52:39 - 255 of 272 Caribbean Investment Holdings Ltd - CIHL I moved out of CIHL into Blockchain and gold shares. The former has done really well but the latter suffered. It is always a guess with the share price of CIHL though I see a continued drift down to between 28p and 37p. That because the coronavirus new strain will be difficult for some countries to control and CIHL interests are set to suffer further. Looking to buy back in at 37p or lower. ----- So far I've remained on the sidelines with the covid factor still firmly in place. | noirua
23/7/2021 08:00 | Very difficult to know what is really happening here. Anyone holding shares might like to say the company's banking interests are trading well - perfectly understandable. How well is the question and how profitability stands compared to the dividend give-away times? So matters must be worse than two years ago but how much worse? There must be bad debts or rather more bad debts. So a right off looks likely and hopefully a move onwards. Whether to invest or not? From my point of view, it's a case of not being able to find news or in fact any ongoing news to base an opinion on. So it's really a bit of a pig in a poke. | noirua
04/7/2021 16:28 | I sold when they knocked the dividend on the head, I will be back if ever its resumes. | montyhedge

05/4/2021 15:26 | Lord Ashcroft in the Covide environment COVID-19 has impacted many countries around the world and on March 23, 2020, our very own Belize confirmed its first case. Having spent some time in the country and personally witnessing its impact on the overall economy of Belize and the lives of ordinary Belizeans, Lord Michael Ashcroft has agreed to contribute BZ$10 million to the national effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The Belize Bank Limited continues to be the custodian of the funds to be disbursed on behalf of Lord Ashcroft. | noirua |
