28/12/2019 09:15 | Lol, think I will open a account.https://www. | montyhedge
27/12/2019 23:15 | I suppose it depends on your interpretation of 'from time to time'. wllm | wllmherk
27/12/2019 15:24 | Dipped a toe I can see dividend increasing nicely coming years. Had to pay 33p for 100,000. | montyhedge
27/12/2019 13:18 | ……..The Board expects that it will continue to make further distributions to shareholders through dividends from time to time, as may be appropriate considering the Company's financial position...… | pillion
27/12/2019 10:34 | You did well Noirua, I had to nip out with my son to take his car to the garage so missed the dip this morning, still, picked up a few at 34p. A risky play I suspect but might be a fun ride, especially if they can churn out regular dividends. wllm | wllmherk
27/12/2019 08:42 | Added a few this morning at just under 31p. Will watch for any opportunity to increase holding whilst others recover from too much Xmas pud. | noirua
24/12/2019 17:37 | Well done to holders - what a great Xmas present! | spangle93
24/12/2019 12:47 | dave4545 My thoughts exactly -- so I didn't bother..... | pillion
24/12/2019 10:50 | Blimey it's just hit 33p on the spike I looked at this yesterday and thought naah I'll get impaled at 20p and now look at it | dave4545
24/12/2019 09:12 | A 40p share price would still value CIHL at about half book value. Annualise H1 pre exceptional taxed profits (2x$5.1=$10.2) gives a P/E ratio around 2 :) at 20p/share H1 results are fantastic but loan losses quite low. If you stick a 2% loan loss ratio on the loan book of $240m that's c. $5m pa. Slot that in and you get a PE ratio about 4 or something DYOR. Lots of variables, lots of drug dealers, very hot. A wild Belize investment indeed but extraordinarily cheap on some metrics :) | eezymunny
23/12/2019 15:24 | Looks amazingly cheap to me Dividend of around 5.4p ( $0.07) so you receive around 25% of the cost of buying the shares back by way of a dividend payment (ex div date is 2nd January by the way) | rightnellie
23/12/2019 15:09 | Annualised the divi is c. 10.8p for a yield of c. 50%. It's a bank in Belize of course with Lord Ashcroft owning 75% so not everyone's cup of tea. Valued c. £20m at 20p with BV at c. $102m. Amusingly cheap some may say :) | eezymunny
23/12/2019 14:59 | Comments on the dividend award please | rightnellie
20/4/2019 18:36 | Cannot find any news on Midway Investments Ltd. Only Angela Entwistle is on the BoD. | russman
29/7/2018 07:48 | The award was assigned to Midway in June 2017. How does the award accrue to Bank Belize? Ashcroft owns 74.8% As long as I get my cut. | russman
26/7/2018 15:03 | Sorry I've just read it again and it does include the ruling money, reason why the RNS was out today that the figure would be changed due to not receiving the payment yet. S we looking $5 million | amrishbhim
26/7/2018 14:29 | That figure not been included | amrishbhim
26/7/2018 14:29 | I guess their are too many words in that RNS for the Twitter loons. | bandflex
26/7/2018 14:27 | Have they included the award in the accounts even though they have not received any of it and are still taking legal action to try and enforce it ? This has been ongoing since 2013 as far as I can tell. | bandflex
26/7/2018 14:02 | From the RNS today paragraph 5 "Despite demands by the Belize Bank for payment, the Government has, to date, failed to pay. " | bandflex
15/1/2018 09:31 | Russman, It is | simon cawkwell
14/1/2018 10:05 | Still think the financial benefit accrues to Midway shareholders. Ashcroft / CIHL group may be pulling all the strings. But it should be made crystal clear in CIHL news. | russman
21/12/2017 10:58 | No loan impairments. Actually got a write back. But not much management communication on prospects. | russman
20/12/2017 09:09 | multi bagger | falia |
