4.8m traded, somebody is selling and buying..SP staying fairly stagnant..

Not sure what is causing the massive increase in volume...

Hmmm, sitting at it's 22p support level - let's hope it doesn't slip back to 18p

It was interesting to me because I had thought they might have been doing some of the buying recently which was driving the price up. So I can rule that theory out. I also thought ultimately they would want to take control if they felt there was a viable business - so felt that was a longer-term underpinning to the value case.

Interesting. I still thought they might want to try at some point to launch a takeover. Change of management or just deciding to cut their losses?

At least they will be returning to scheduled reporting calendar, next being June..getting back to normality..

Company needs to restore faith in the management who are on the right track, improving performance and outlook..

Perhaps a big sell order at 25p and the MMs happy to take 25.1p to shift it? And on the other side, plenty of demand.

Jumpy share price and then very tight spread again this morning. Strange.

tradertrev >> Chill out mate, you're hopefully past the worse

Seen these go from 12p to 24p and back again so any close above 24p is a blessing

Well they only need to push the share price a bit and sellers come in, those that brought at 3p+ for a good profit...probably..

Every 10p increases Mcap by £7.3m so slowly does it..have to go above 30p to be in profit..

"Bid hit 28.5p topnotch" - that's even worse!!!

I suppose close any above 24p is a good sign as its above the resistance level...

Bid hit 28.5p topnotch.

Hopefully it'll establish itself over 24p now and go from there and we'll find today was just a teaser.

Hmmmm, seems the share price doesn't want to stay up - hit 27.5p BID earlier

Now lost nearly ALL it's gains

It would be a bit odd if a Yorkshire based plastics company with a specialist medical device manufacturing arm didn't get a bit of LFT business from another Yorkshire company!!. Still stranger things have happened. For those not aware Avacta has had a very positive RNS today and will seemingly be set to produce millions of these devices 'ere long.

Buying coming in at 29.3p :o))

I suspect there is indeed interest here based on CAR's potential involvement in tooling and plastic part production for the UK's roll-out of lateral flow tests etc.

The recent director share buying in CAR was also featured prominently in the FTs list of Director Deals in its weekend edition.

Quite some buying pressure last couple of days. One would have thought a breakout is on the cards from this 20-25p range at this rate and that it might then hopefully see a swift move higher.
