Good volume today, is this a reaction to CFO appointment or something bigger...

AA corporate bond yield creeping back up, which should help re pension. More importantly, there are good reasons to believe they are in a growth sweet spot :)

Still good value even with the pension issue. Board looks much stronger. Memo to management please don't get involved in supplying OEM automotive!

Would be nice if the newly appointed CFO follows his fellow directors' lead and bought a good chunk of shares :)

Is this getting juiced up? Might look a bit boring, but it's part of sector where there's a lot of technological development.

The director buying is coming like buses :o))

Another one this morning - the other new NED has bought almost £43,000 of shares at 21p:

The two buyers are formerly the CEO and CFO of Spirent and the CEO of RPC respectively. These are guys who wouldn't waste around £40k each having just joined CAR and should know their stuff.

Although there appeared to be selling of c60k shares @ 20.5p late on today during trading, encouraging to see a couple of meaty trades totalling c170k shares @ 20.5p after the bell. Hopefully they were buys but regardless it's good to see a bit of volume on the right side of 20p.

Well they would be foolish not to be trying to win LFT business. Don't think Abingdon can meet all the demand.

It would be quicker and less expensive for Abingdon Health (or similar) to buy Carclo than build new facilities. If Carclo is not bought out, they will benefit from a lot of subcontract work. There is a shortage of capacity in the Industry and Boris wants an Indigenous LFT Testing Industry to free up the economy and to protect the UK from future pandemics.

It would be nice to know if they have any covid related work. Does anyone know either way?
