12/6/2007 08:24 | Or will stage 2 be a reversal of PVTM into CLY ? | bbd2
12/6/2007 08:19 | Here is the link to the above: Actually, looking again it is PTS who are coming to PLUS and not PVTM (PTS are the parent company of PVTM)so I am not sure what, if any, effect it will have on our stake in PVTM. Specifically, will PVTM still be listed over the pond. | bbd2
12/6/2007 08:10 | well i like what i read and toped up as this could move fast when more know about it | william-just
12/6/2007 08:03 | Nice one Dusty. We now need CPLY to tell us what effect this will have on our shareholding in PTS. I would have thought we were fully consulted on the move. I wonder why they didn't consider reversing into CLY? | bbd2

11/6/2007 21:08 | This is VERY interesting (Stil holding 6m shares!) Private Trading Systems plc Type of Issue: Introduction Private Trading Systems plc -APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION ON PLUS The directors of Private Trading Systems plc ("PTS" or the "Company"), a UK company that operates a trading system known as the Private Equity Trading System ("PETS"), are pleased to announce that the Company has applied for the admission of its entire ordinary share capital to trading on PLUS Markets. The Company has recently raised GBP1.25 million by way of a private placement with an existing institutional shareholder. The funds raised are not conditional upon listing on PLUS and will be used to further develop the Company. LISTING DETAILS Sector classification: Speciality and Other Finance Principal activities: Provision of a securities trading system Corporate adviser: Atlantic Law LLP BUSINESS ACTIVITIES PTS is the parent company of The Private Treaty Market Limited, a UK company that has designed, developed and will operate a trading system known as the Private Equity Trading System or "PETS". PETS can be used for trading securities, instruments or any financial asset capable of being converted into electronic form. Offering straight through processing and instantaneous settlement, PETS closely combines the exchange and settlement functions and links with custodial functions through regulated banks. PETS will enable the Company to offer world-wide, real-time, instantaneous trading and settlement in any financial instrument 21 hours per day, allowing time for maintenance on the system. Following detailed investigation and to the best of their knowledge, the directors are not aware of any other system that offers the complete, seamless, real-time integration of the trading process. The Company's business strategy is to develop key strategic partnerships, initially with international banks, trust companies, brokers and exchanges. Other key users are issuers of all forms of securities, including private equities, public equity, convertible and straight bonds, asset-backed securities, and insurance products. Although not commercially tested to date, the directors consider that the PETS system today, together with various enhancements that it plans to add in the future, has the potential to cause a profound change in the way securities are held at a custody level, traded, settled and cleared globally. The Company intends to generate revenue by charging initial admission fees and transaction fees based on all completed orders made through the PETS system. PTS is led by a highly experienced management team, with extensive experience in private and publicly-held companies with expertise in the management of high-growth enterprises. The Admission Document for PTS is available at Atlantic Law Llp, One Great Cumberland Place, London W1H 7AL. The Directors of PTS accept responsibility for this announcement. 06/6/2007 20:27 | Hi lord santafe been in these long while have you heard any news about ramsden ,leo knifton and patrick clarage nothing never seems to happen bb2 makes alot of sense but nobody on this bb seems to answer anyhting. Do you know when they have to give accounts or any news to shareholders, im surprised the banks and all the holders havent put any pressure on caplay. And ramsden i know the directors are supposed to be not getting paid but surely something has got to be done, regards slickertom. | slickertom

29/3/2007 08:04 | Well at least we had some trades yesterday. | bbd2
17/3/2007 18:48 | I hope you are right. I have done a fair bit of research on the Ramsden "links" and I do believe he may be onto a winner. My original hope was that he would use CLY as one of the "links" but he managed to find a company in deep financial trouble to get his additional listing which has now become Dematco. We still have our PVTM stake but it appears that the relationship between the board and Ramsden may have gone a little sour. I would still love to know who the FSA regulated company mentioned in the following is though: "DeMatco Limited has entered into arrangements with an FSA Regulated Company in the UK for the marketing of the Policies to institutional buyers in Europe and anticipates entering into similar agreements for distribution in other jurisdictions". | bbd2
17/3/2007 16:05 | I'm in for the potential of PVTM and associated companies. It's purely a punt and the fact that like myself Terry Ramsden has come back from bankruptcy and hopefully will not make the same mistakes again and if it all comes good the PVTM stake could go up substantially. Plus theres still some movers and shakers associated with caplay and I don't expect them to sit on their hands much longer. DB | dustybin
16/3/2007 17:47 | dusty Good on yer mate - can't keep a good 'un down hey :) Boring Old Reg | boringreg

16/3/2007 12:56 | Nice to see a few buys again today and tighter spread | bbd2
16/3/2007 12:48 | Hi BoringREG Yep, its me!!! Lost everything and went bankrupt in 2000 and got out of it in 2001. Decided to set up my own company in 2002 and have never looked back If interested you can see some of my companies at the following links www.toffgroup.com (everything except tofftech.com which i closed down) www.choicebrands.co. have around £200k on the stock market which i play around with but my main focus now is running my companies. The dot.com crash taught me a very big lesson!!! Its better to invest in yourself than invest in other people!!! I've had an incredible roller coaster ride in the last 10 years and would probably make a good book!! The BIN is back !!!!!!!!!!!! DB | dustybin
15/3/2007 19:55 | blimey - dustybin - that's a name from the past. Wasn't it you who made a fortune in the dot.com boom and then lost it all - plus some. Have you made it all back again - hope so - must have been a real nightmare. | boringreg |
