There was a couple of big trades early on but looks like the share price is being held back at the moment. Would've expected to be through 40p on this update.

Should see a break of 40p, if not today then over coming days.

I can envisage CAL moving gradually higher from here ...

This is a positive update and what appears to be a very nice recovery play.

What nickcduk says above could well be a likely scenario - in which case we could well see CAL rise quite sharply should such events materialise - that would be a bonus.

However, irrespective, we should see a nice steady recovery from CAL from here on.

CAL is getting some love following INRE bid talks. CAL has sizeable assets under management and is an attractive acquisition opportunity.

My only blue on a dog of a day in the markets, 6 days of solid gains before today. And today was a positive for much of the morning too, until the sell off began. 11 fallers, 3 non movers, and CAL. Bummer.

Safe upside in this share. Might be boring compared with the spikes in the commodity/oil shares but at least its not to going to loose our shirts for us. When the commodity/oil party ends investors will likely chase shares like CAL and pay a premium.

Best day we're seen here in a while, I'd be quite happy with another 25% in the coming months. Even to get back to 40p would be welcome...

Oh dear indeed! I only have a small holding currently - do I sell and wait for them to change their mind or brave it out and add on the dip that is now almost certain??
