Modest rise their into the close today. All quiet on the thread still, I see. We're either all snowed it or just plain bored waiting for the recovery...

I've bought in having missed out prior at these slightly lower levels. Might get tipped for the New Year and can build up further on this initial purchase. Though no one will really let us know when its the right time to be buying. Though the economy is naff, there are not many relatively safe places to invest anyway.

This is getting a bit painful. What the hell is going on? No other property share's doing this badly. OK QED perhaps, but that had a rights issue that the shorters trampled to death.

Any theories? Run for the hills?

minerva must have been a great buy for you! i started watching them at 13p but never actually bought any...wish i had!!!

i dont get whats going on withc al at the moment. its just been sitting between 35-38 for weeks now...i need it to go above 42p so i can return to profit!!

got these and minerva at the same time, expecting good things from both as the property markets improved. Still positive about cal but some good press following disposals news would help

Hungry Wolf, it's worth explaining that the new shares were based on a 1 for 12 offer at 2.5p which was a 72.2% discount to the 9p share price at the time the offer was announced.

So if, for example you had bought 120000 shares at 9p, you were able to subscribe for only 10000 more at 2.5p, taking your average to 8.5p. Hardly a give-away.

And even after the EU approval, the shares are only up 4% now, though I conceded that due to some excellent ramping they were up nearly 30% at one stage before everyone and his dog took profits.

Very little happening here, we seem to be stuck in a 36-38p trading range...

Who would have thought you could make money from tomatoes.

Well, Provexis, ticker PXS has just done that and has been approved by the EU.

On the 22nd or 30th the new shares will hit the market so I would wait till then before getting on board. We the holders got ours @ 2.5 pence.

What can we expect? Global distribution and already in talks with Coca-Cola.

C&R own 13.9% of The Junction fund therefore £10.9m is what has been added to C&R's coffers - less costs of course. Still nice though.
