It is depending on the accounting period for Annual results, for quarterly it is open to interpretation . An exmaple would be Bats Directors purchasing shares a few days before the release of the Annual Results. Quarterly updates with a close peiod you can still enquire or question on the company.

Close Period Defined

It is just on how you approach each quarter, questions can be asked but the answers may not be fourth coming.

By the by, if anyone of you heathens is considering contacting Capita Investor Relations with any pertinant questions, don't bother.

As any serious investor knows we are in a Closed period'.

"The close period (or closed period) is the time between the completion of a listed company's financial results and the announcing of these results to the public. The close period is typically regarded as the one-month period preceding the release of a company's quarterly results, and the two-month period before the release of its annual results."

Straightforward answer there grip, can't disagree

Some may be inclined to conclude that the nett proceeds, after impairments & one off expences, have propped up the balance sheet over the past few years.

17.18p was the low today. I will have to find some 'spare money' to buy again if the share price hits a level of 16p; perhaps low 16's. 15.26 is yearly low.
Then i shall feed off the 'rotten stinking carcass'.....

Even vultures have to eat!!

All imho, of course
