Schoolboy error!

Rule 1) NEVER EVER draw any conclusions from reported sell/buy labels.

Look at volume instead. The volume and the daily candle tells you who's buying, and who's selling. (preferably use the weekly charts so late reporting of trades can be smoothed out).

Messy , this share price is around 13p above it's all time low of around 25p and its historical high was 1200p so lots of margin to have some fun in , and make some serious money , it's safe now , you can buy and sell £250k with no problems on a daily basis , enjoy .

It's going to get messy if you're holding FTSE 100/250 stocks.

See that plunge down from the high? This is my take on it.

Large players drop a big sell at the top - Takes the price down.
They hold off as PIs take it as a buying opportunity.
The price moves back to the top - the large players once again take advantage and sell.
A few iterations take place (consolidation).
When the PI's are exhausted, and the large player has empty pockets.....the large player takes the share price down....the PIs who bought in the late 30s now sell, adding to the downward pressure.....

Who's buying down there? Large players!

Rinse and repeat. How many have they just offloaded at the top (check the volume signature).

I need a close above 41p Albert.

I'm looking for consolidation on low volume below 40p through to a Friday close.

Recent events have thrown short term technical analysis principles out of the window. The CPI chart looks to be playing out a clear fractal pattern.

Crank open a 4 hour chart covering March 2020 to today.

Compare the price action here:

3-10th August 2020 - 25th Jan - 4th Feb.

If this pattern plays out again we'll consolidate until the end of the week between 39/40p, and then take a significant drop from next Monday.

If we are working to a new pattern and we break and hold above 41p on a daily close, then I think we're starting the long trip North.
