I raise you hundreds of contact centre workers for which home provisioning is problematic, and a raft of service credits.

I'm calling it now. This is the best selling opportunity we'll get for a few months.

Shoddy called 38p as the alternative count.

Should now start to see news flow from Mr Lewis , a buyout would be brilliant now the finances are looking better , 160p would make the majority happy.

The 400m of proceeds removes the need to pay interest and other charges on the highest costing debt. I would guess that to be a saving of about 30m per year. Plus it improves the overall financing picture possibly knocking 100bps interest off the remaining debt so another 6m. So 36m per year saved offsets the 30m or so of profit reduction. But flexibility has been improved

They made £66 million last qtr ,on that basis £250million pa adjusted free profit will am sure help the cause.

How did you arrive at £1B debt , the share price is performing as it should be.

Not sure how the share price will react but we just lost a hugely profitable part of our operation, and we only cleared the debt to circa 1BN (assuming we pay the debt off).

There has to be a Primary Bid or D4E in the pipeline, which I would welcome rather than ears of further struggle.

Haven't changed my stance, just not convinced the sale will add many pennies to the price, it's been known about for a while, albeit appreciate wasn't rubber stamped until yesterday. Hope I'm wrong obviously. We hopefully will be between 40 - 50p by March. Should hopefully know the plan to get out of lockdown by then and I expect an update from Capita re finances.

It won't imo. This sale has been known about for ages. Open at 36 something and close around the same I would have thought.
