17/12/2023 22:09 | They split the costs in the US. | enid blyton
17/12/2023 22:07 | Bagpuss, The general position in litigation is the losing party pays costs of the other side. | yasx
17/12/2023 20:16 | I'm not sure thats the way it works with costs in the US | bagpuss67
17/12/2023 19:42 | It's amazing how astute everyone becomes with hindsight! 🙄 | juliemara
17/12/2023 19:04 | Does Capxx have sufficient cash to pay Maxwell for legal costs due to the winning party? It now appears obvious why no funder took on the case since the prospects were likely unfavourable. | yasx
17/12/2023 15:44 | Will be interesting now to see if Tesla drops their patent infringement case or will the go for the jugular. Cap-xx have very little cash left to defend another court case. | grahamwales
16/12/2023 17:14 | I'll just put these in the bottom drawer then. Hey ho. | ricardox
16/12/2023 15:10 | Not costing cpx anything now can they just get on with businesses | mally6
16/12/2023 14:49 | Well, the least bad news is that litigation costs should go and perhaps management can work on delivering revenue. I am not sure I hold out much hope. | sidam
16/12/2023 13:52 | Lol. If GB has any meaningful holding he is going to suffer a huge loss on Monday and yet he bleats on about doom and gloom. It is a doom and gloom situation. Going to be at least - 75% in the open | bagpuss67
16/12/2023 12:08 | Here they come “Chuckle Brothers Tag Team” guess they are spouting more doom and gloom !! | garybrandon
16/12/2023 11:46 | Bagpuss Sorry for your loss as I said if CPX don't suspend probably best to wait as market makers will push this down on no trades. Traders will try and make some money on the bounce which is the best time to try and sell if that's what you want. He is delusional and told some big porkies along the way. | grahamwales
16/12/2023 11:42 | Gary b with more delusional rubbish. He really is clueless. Sadly this is game over causing me a big loss | bagpuss67
16/12/2023 11:10 | I fully expect multi account holders to come Monday with their “doom gloom” verdict ! CPX have good growth shown in the resent results, Lars pointed out further growth over the coming months so not all bad here ! | garybrandon
16/12/2023 11:08 | So, looks like I've got to keep on with my day job on Monday. | juliemara
16/12/2023 10:48 | CPX have lost the case ! ( unable to show the names of inventors associated, putting it very short) Who pays Maxwell costs as ours have been paid ? Over to you Lars RNS Monday should reveal all ! Putting this into perspective the case was over 2 now out of date patents costing CPX around 3 million and 4 years, so hurt but not out by a long way! (Just don’t look at the S/P Monday morning) | garybrandon
16/12/2023 09:54 | Possibly the worst news for CPX. Will they now have to pay court and Maxwell costs. If so then it really is the end for them and may actually suspend on opening Monday. Hopefully they will allow holders to sell before going into administration. Gary For all your lies I hope no one actually bought in listening to you as no doubt may now be facing losing all their money. Once Kongats left the writing was on the wall he knew the patents could not be defended so let taking even more money with him. Newlands obviously aware CPX were on dogy ground hence selling on the spikes you also have to wonder if posters on LSE were involved in pumping the price up to allow investors to sell. Anyway if it does open on Monday there will be a lot of selling so good luck to those invested it will get a bounce so if you don't manage to sell 1st thing wait for the rampers to come back then sell. | grahamwales
16/12/2023 09:25 | “Law360 (December 15, 2023, 9:36 PM EST) -- A Delaware jury found Friday that Tesla subsidiary Maxwell Technologies did not infringe two patents owned by Australian company CAP-XX on technology used in energy storage devices, and that Maxwell had shown that many of the claims are invalid. Following a five-day trial, the jurors rejected CAP-XX's argument that Maxwell infringed the patents through the production of its energy storage devices, known as supercapacitors. The jury was tasked with determining if a long list of Maxwell products infringed, and concluded that none of them did. CAP-XX alleged that Maxwell infringed the patents either directly or because the company supplied components from the U.S. to other countries, to be combined in a way that would infringe the patents if it had happened in the U.S. It also claimed that the infringement was willful. In addition to clearing Maxwell of infringement, the jury said the company had shown that the asserted claims of CAP-XX's patents are invalid. All the claims were found to be invalid as indefinite and for failing to name the correct inventors, while several others were also found to be invalid as obvious or for not enabling a skilled person to make and use the invention.” | hairflick
16/12/2023 08:25 | Bad news by the looks of it. Shouls have followed the Newlands lead. Too risky to hold over the verdict period. | bagpuss67
16/12/2023 08:23 | CPX appear to have lost :(. Will be 0.25p in the open | bagpuss67 |
