If I was Tesla I wouldn't settle, I'd drag this out hoping CPX crumble. Its pocket money to Tesla.

Some commenators are suggesting that Tesla may settle two very recent patent challenges to allow them to focus on cpx and one other longer running case. Still hopeful there could be a settlement though given cpxs previous wins

OK. Thanks. It is not always automatic in litigation where often leave to appeal needs to be granted.

Yes they can appeal if they lose. If it's proven beyond reasonable doubt that Cpx are correct then i can't see an appeal changing the facts or the result. Wouldn't make sense to appeal.

Presumably Tesla are expecting to bankrupt them with the costs of legal process..I have to say I hadn't been aware how close to the trial we are. Can Tesla appeal a loss and still try to bust CPX in that way even if they win?

CPX won this case on the same patents that Maxwell are in court over, how much will CPX be awarded or will Tesla just buy them out?,time will tell

All investors have to do is read todays RNS plus little research on the Maxwell case, CPX have won 2 previous cases with the same judge in the same court. Maxwell will be the 3rd, how else could CPX have won the 2 previous cases, their you go !

There you go again making statements that are made up. You have no idea what the outcome will be.

The court case payout will run into the millions, CPX have paid £millions in legal fees plus damages, no need for a share funding!
IMO

I’ve got the bitter multi account holder with massive twisted issues g/w on filter, I’d recommend genuine investors do the same !

CPX best results in a very long time, Lars is making a serious growth financial impact for this “world leader” in the capacitor market valued at just over £6 million

October 2023 product revenue was US$0.4m (approximately AUD$0.6m) and for the four months to the end of October 2023 was US$0.9m (AUD$1.5m). This compares with product revenues of US$0.7m (AUD$1.1m) in the previous corresponding four month period of last year, a year on year increase of approximately 35%.

Currently, cash reserves are approximately AUD$0.5m, excluding the Australian Tax R&D Rebate for 2022/23. The rebate was formally submitted in October 2023, and a payment of AUD$2.1m is expected to be received in the coming weeks.

The Maxwell legal case is currently set for hearing from 11 to 15 December 2023 in the US Supreme Court. We are unable to make any further comment at this time, except that our team is very well prepared.

We last received royalty payments from AVX in January 2023 for the 2022 year. We have been disputing the contract interpretation adopted by AVX and there are preliminary court hearings underway. The Company's position has not altered, and we remain confident of a favorable outcome in both cases!

Placing now seems inevitable November/December. With just £260k left in the kitty and 2 cases to fight in the courts.

Cash burn in last 4 months AUD 2 million and loan of AUD 1.1 million to pay back from government hand out leaving them AUD 1.4 million.

Sales up but still not making any profit. CEO trying to pump price perhaps to get a better placing price. Will private investors fall for it Newlands obviously not.

Can’t believe people are still buying into this sell off. Wait till they have finished then decide.

Newlands still dumping 250k batches reduced from 500k must be harder to sell.
