16/2/2021 15:52 | Epishine will be going on a big, big Marketing & PR drive in the coming months and that will help keep the spotlight firmly on CPX. Now, just need details on the mobile phone deal and then this will clear 20p in a flash | mattjos
16/2/2021 15:49 | Out the blue rns, very nice | celeritas
16/2/2021 15:26 | Newlands backed the equity raising and so the opportunity for a quick flip & then on the next deal. I doubt he/they even bothered with much research other than asking; "Will the post equity raise newsflow be such that I can flip the stock at a gain & move on?" If he/they are the source of liquidity just now then, that's fine. It's helping to keep the spread pretty tight most days & they'll be happy making a quick buck & moving on the next flipper. Nothing wrong with that approach … someone has to provide monies for equity raises. On this occasion though, I believe they are simply flogging off £2 coins for 10p | mattjos
16/2/2021 15:08 | Indeed. I was astonished when I saw two of the companies the Newlands had gone for. I would categorize one as rubbish and another as a lifestyle company. Hopefully the Newlands are gone never to return..mugs. Mattjos..great post..why not try contacting Epishine (Mattias Josephson) or have a go at Marco Ranalli the Cpx Europe point man. Is Epishine a quoted company? | meijiman
16/2/2021 14:56 | The Newlands can't sell for ever. I suspect they will live to regret flipping CAP-XX for a quick turn but, some folk can't / won't be helped | mattjos
16/2/2021 14:53 | the global Electronic Shelf Edge Label (ESEL) market alone is worth over $1Bn. Used to work for Sainsburys and getting these to be self-powered (without batteries) was the Holy Grail years ago & one of the main barriers that prevented the major supermarkets from adopting the technology. Now if the ESEL unit is self-powered by harvesting ambient internal light energy, there should be little holding back broader adoption (subject to unit cost). That market alone is Billions of units if Epishine can come to dominate it .. same for Smoke Detectors - no more squawking smoke detectors telling you the battery is about to give up. The implications for CAP-XX sales volumes are very, very significant. Market probably not yet seen the news given 12:55pm release | mattjos
16/2/2021 14:52 | This is very significant...well beyond the link to Epishine. The webinar also seems to indicate a step change in the comms department. All coming together nicely. Shame for the Newlands who can't see it! | meijiman
16/2/2021 13:46 | Considering the technical achievement, patents and other IP, licenses sold, and market leadership, this tiny company has always been 'an unknown gem' overlooked and therefore seriously undervalued No more. Musk's interest in supercapacitors for his Tesla has brought CPX to the edge of our awareness, and this wonderful RNS Reach indicates the kind of great opportunities lying ahead. | scrutable
16/2/2021 13:45 | seems an innocuous RNS to most but, this is the future for IOT. This is very likely the death knell for many battery powered devices. I do think Epishine / CAP-XX should be speaking with company such as CYAN .. the benefits are persuasive. Solar / ambient-light powered mesh connected devices is the future | mattjos
16/2/2021 13:16 | Seems big news to me. Disruptive technology. Worth noting that incorporating the very thin Capxx 3.5mm supercapacitor has allowed Epishine to build a module only 3.8 mm thick. Thinness is big selling point. | skyracer
16/2/2021 13:05 | More interest in these today; I added a few at 11p. | maytrees
16/2/2021 13:05 | Nice rally on RNS: Epishine contract :-) | browney1
14/2/2021 13:42 | Nail on the head Sir! Totally agree, I will continue to buy on the dips it's in an exciting industry | drobinson1991
14/2/2021 13:29 | How right you are..shame others can't see it as well! Ev/Market cap here is modest for what they now have. | meijiman
13/2/2021 19:57 | Yes I am. Fundamentally this is AIM. The true worth of a company is not reflected in its SP/MC on AIM. That is at the behest of a multitude of punters and MM. The true worth is what a large buyer is prepared to take out the company for. Medium hold, add on the dips. This is a true company with a product in a growing electrical energy market. What is not to like. Short term is just froth from warrants/placings etc. With quality company's, when they stop needing funding from placings and AIM has run its course, the Directors/large holders work out quite quickly its better to buy out the small punters and reap the rewards long term. Might take a while, but I'm here for that. | charlesjames1
13/2/2021 15:22 | Buying below 11p cant go wrong medium term IMO | daar
13/2/2021 11:51 | Well it was a poor week here share price wise. I thought the update was pretty positive. Market thinks not . Some are still clearly selling . Is anyone a further buyer at this price ? | jeanesy
12/2/2021 19:49 | Those 3p shares again being sold . When will it end | goforgold1
12/2/2021 18:26 | Oh yes and keep buying guys. | grahamwales
12/2/2021 18:24 | Less of the old and no I don’t want back in. But classic post no heard that one before. | grahamwales
12/2/2021 18:04 | GW is just Deramping so he can get in cheaper! What a sad old man... | drobinson1991
12/2/2021 17:08 | Because I didn't want anyone to be thinking he was right. A lot of people don't know a lot about electronics - such as the guff about "supercapacitors aren't used in EVs". Hopefully, I've achieved two things, made sure everyone knows he's talking balls and that the TAM here is huge and so is the opportunity for Cap-XX. | mauricemonkey
12/2/2021 15:18 | Poor Graham, still after all that, can't get his head around the fact that supercapacitors are just high performance capacitors. Poor mite. Indeed there are rectification circuits Loafing, and they use, guess what (for Graham's benefit) capacitors to act as voltage smoothers, and also in the filtering circuits to remove any stray frequencies that break through. Regen braking systems are basically the same principle and require similar electronics, but need higher performing components (inc capacitors, sorry supercapacitors there I go again), because of the high power bursts - it takes a lot of power to stop a ton and a half travelling at 70mph! | mauricemonkey |
