08/3/2021 17:09 | It was obvious this spiked to 12p on hot money and was as likely to fall back to 5p as it was to go to 15p. Probably more likely. The thing is selling out and getting back in, everyone is holding on the promises and have been for years. | charker
08/3/2021 16:46 | looks like going lower should have bounced off by now. I would say 6p next . unless some miracle news comes out. still loads of 3p shares to sell. They could need money as well. very soon to up production | goforgold1
04/3/2021 16:20 | mean while the shares continue to fall . Looks like 8p is the next stop. | jeanesy
04/3/2021 13:43 | AK knows what he is doing maurice...I think. | meijiman
04/3/2021 12:44 | "CAP-XX is manufacturing in China as well as in Australia and Malaysia". Well that's the IP gone then. Good luck getting a Chinese court to protect it. | mauricemonkey
04/3/2021 11:10 | The legal case does seem to be crystalising...got to think it has entered onto Elon Musk's busy schedule. | meijiman
04/3/2021 11:00 | thanks Bomber much appreciated. | petewy
04/3/2021 10:58 | I did ..it was interesting though some of the technical stuff was above my pay grade notably from the Belgian lady. Good summary by bomber. The three companies seem to be working very closely on pushing forward on these various projects. The green aspect was a big plus for me....battery disposal issues and shortish lifespans are a major issue. | meijiman
04/3/2021 10:40 | Thanks Bomber. Useful feedback. I wonder how many saw/heard the webinar? | grabster
04/3/2021 10:28 | great post bomber thanks. | cheeky13
04/3/2021 10:21 | I attended the webinar yesterday showcasing the indoor light harvesting technology using a thin prismatic CAP-XX supercapacitor instead of a battery , and the printed version is included below . Quite technical in detail , and the proof of the pudding will be in the eating , but here is yet another example of the IOT's innovative and carbon friendly growth , and how supercapacitors can play a part either on their own , as in this case , or in conjunction with a battery , thereby prolonging the latter's life and increasing its power and energy density . Perhaps the most informative slides are those on CAP-XX itself . They showcase the transformational Murata deal , they outline the potential of CAP-XX's 3V product when used in conjunction the standard 3V coin cell battery , and they announce an interesting new product range in the shape of 3V prismatic and cylindrical supercaps for surface-mount devices . Samples of the latter will be available from May with the cylindrical version going into production in July , 2022 , and the prismatic version in January , 2023 costing US$1 and US$3 each respectively . The other interesting revelation yesterday was the statement that CAP-XX is manufacturing in China as well as in Australia and Malaysia . This is a first acknowledgement as far as I am aware and takes CAP-XX into the heart of big technology manufacturing territory . The Maxwell/Tesla court case rumbles on , and there are 2 links below telling us that a mandatory judge attended video mediation session is planned for 21st September , 2021 , so the pressure is on for an out of court settlement , probably before then . As you know , CAP-XX won its case against Ioxus in the same court , under the same judge , and on a dispute over the same patents . | bomber13
04/3/2021 08:37 | Samsung, Apple, Huawei, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Sony, Nokia, LG, and others .. But that Top Ten list is from 2 years ago. | grabster
03/3/2021 12:23 | Thanks. To be honest no idea who the phone company is...but there aren't that many. | meijiman
03/3/2021 11:43 | Meijiman, Just a note of caution re Samsung. I am also invested in NANOCO and they are currently suing Samsung for alleged IP infringements . NANO and Samsung used to have a collaborative agreement. NANO are now alleging that Samsung pinched the NANO IP. Case us trundling through the Texas legal system . Samsung may not be a firm to trust at all as they have " form" in other areas too. | euroto
03/3/2021 11:33 | No need for any rows. I think many, including me, thought 10p was a decent floor given where we are and the prospects. Still nothing has altered the potential here. As a long term holder what is your take on the product they referenced for use in smart phones? Maybe Samsung? | meijiman
03/3/2021 10:11 | Roofer I assume that your remarks were made about me. My post was factually correct and if you bother to look at my posts on CPX, these have been positive. I am a shareholder and intend to be in the stock for the long term. But fellow investors should not look for instant gratification. I have followed this company on and off for a very long time. I actually was on the road trip organised many many years ago when we visited as guests of CPX, Nokia in Norway to discuss the use of capacitors in mobile phones. At that time Nokia was market leader. I will say that I was really shocked when the head of Nokia's development team told us the time taken to design in any new systems - 18 months. That was probably why Nokia failed. But it does demonstrate that there can be significant time between initial chats and actual delivery of product. That is why I think this is a long term holding and possibly a reason why Allenby has not put out any numbers in their latest note. But as I have posted previously, their original projections gave large upside. It is a matter of timing. | sidam
03/3/2021 10:04 | Ha..I note Jeff used to work at Maxwell. I bet he still has mates there. Thinking aloud I can't imagine he would have joined Cpx unless he was confident on their prospects...business AND legal!! | meijiman
03/3/2021 09:01 | Don't forget 4pm (UK time) today - a webinar involving CPX/Epishine/Epeas Still time to register. It's free. Speakers include Jeff Colton, Executive Vice President, CAP-XX "Jeff Colton has 35 years in the supercapacitor and rechargeable battery industry. He has held senior executive roles at GE, Sanyo, Maxwell Technology and Saft Battery." If you have any trouble registering via the company website, try this link instead: | grabster
03/3/2021 08:53 | Total waste of time posting any positive news, I’ve stopped altogether, some don’t bother reading RNSs or links to new contracts, the others just post one line trying to discredit a post, CPX will rise on its own merits as and when IIs accumulate !! Imo R2 | roofer2
03/3/2021 08:18 | But that is not until September. | sidam
03/3/2021 07:42 | Courtesy of lse good news!!! hxxps://www.pacermon | joeblogg2
02/3/2021 17:00 | might be able get these at 3p like company directors did wow. | goforgold1
02/3/2021 15:40 | I have heard this line over the years. Did it materialize..ermmm.. CEO has said today " we enter the second-half with a strong order book and rising enquiry levels | jailbird
01/3/2021 08:55 | If you go through my post history you wouldn’t make such misinformed comment, yes these boards are full of morons on both sides of the bull/bear coin but I have no time for games. I’d happily invest in CPX if I thought it was due a substantial re rate but the latest earnings do not point to that. Also anyone who thinks by posting a few slightly negative views on a share who thinks they could effect the share price is similarly a deluded moron and that ain’t me. But thanks for the taking the time to post 😉😂 | tomduck |
