It's about time a bit more attention was paid to delivering all shareholders some value here.

£10m impairment on Bardsley.
Seems to be a busted flush.

Yes, what a trainwreck Bardsley has been.

On a happier note, £30m coming for Linton Park?

Kakuzi books a bumper full-year 2022 profit and dividend harvest

Kakuzi again!! I remember some contributors to this board have been quite rude
about the company and the CEO of Camellia.

"significant improvement to our expectations"

WTF? Don't CAM realise the tradition for bad news only?

As far as I aware Kakuzi is now only traded in Nairobi. It used to be traded on LSE but not in recent years.CAM owns 50.7% of Kakuzi.

"Let's hope BBC have not been looking at Kakuzi's operations ..."

On the contrary, I hope they do.
Researching the news and web I think you will find that Kakuzi has undergone
a "spring clean".

AIMHO, DYOR, BWDIK.

Let's hope BBC have not been looking at Kakuzi's operations as well as those of Finlay (owned by Swire) and Unilever and found anything wrong. It is of course a likely target for investigation following previous problems. It does highlight a problem for CAM.Kakuzi is a listed Kenyan company with outside mainly Kenyan shareholders;albeit with a CAM majority shareholding. Its board of directors & advisory board is made up of Kenyan Nationals with according to their CV's a very high level of expertise & professional qualification with a single CAM appointed non exec. How far should UK Company be held responsible for Kenyan operations?

We are pleased to announce that Kakuzi PLC has formally
committed to attending the next FRUIT LOGISTICA
international trade show in Berlin, Germany. This is a
component of a global marketing initiative for Kenyan
avocado exports.

I have been worried about the 'supply vs. demand'
equation for avocados both globally and locally.
Camellia have 377 immature ha. yet to come into
production for 632 mature ha. [cf.An. Report] and
more being planted in S.Africa and Tanzania.

As far as I am aware the 330 acres of Linton Parkland is in separate ownership.CAM own the house and immediate listed gardens.

Well, the sale of ACS and T and the possible residential development of Linton park are positive steps forward.

Unfortunately they also say this, "The proceeds from the sale will be applied to support the Group's strategy of focussing its investment activity on its core agriculture operations and for general working capital purposes."

The core agricultural operations are barely profitable and subject to multiple uncertainties. This is re-investing capital into low margin, high risk lines of business.

BTW There is 330 acres of parkland at Linton park as well as the imposing country house. All with various Grades of listing however.
