Premier's operated Catcher Area averaged 19.4 kboepd (net) for the period and 26.5 kboepd since June reflecting strong reservoir performance offset by lower than anticipated operating efficiency as commissioning of the facilities was completed. The 18(th) well, a Burgman producer, was completed in October concluding a highly successful three-year drilling programme with well productivity significantly higher than forecast. In addition, dynamic data continues to demonstrate good connectivity within the high quality reservoirs and strong pressure support provided by the aquifer and injector wells. Operating efficiency from the Catcher FPSO has improved with the plant producing on every day over the last month at an average rate of around 65 kboepd (gross). Premier expects to reach agreement with the FPSO provider to increase the contractual oil production rate from 60 kbopd (gross) to 66 kbopd (gross) shortly.

FAR's Samo 1 well in the Gambia, south of SNE, has been unsuccessful. Let's hope the argument about pre-emption rights can soon be settled as it can't be good for the SNE joint venture.

Transocean Leader which has been drilling Agar-Plaintain is scheduled for a rig move tomorrow. (or a few days later, if small delay, which sometimes happens)

No, I thought the drill was over and they were just not telling us but looking again at Marinetraffic the Ensco 101 seems to be still at Ekland and the two boats nearest are supply ships and so it looks like they are just working on, sorry.

Excuse the ignorance but has this been indicated as discovery?

What's happened to Ekland? CNE are operator and so no reason they can't let us know about this brilliant find, just a tiny tweet would do.

Well that's Senegal a little ahead of schedule. Could have been a bit better written though with regard to the 500 mm figures quoted?

I'd imagine there aren't many places (offshore) it is 'difficult' to drill with a 6th generation drill ship!

O/T Namibia seems quite easy to drill with a 6th generation drill ship. Poseidon's rock penetration rates very impressive down there. Prospect "S" 251.5m/day. Cormorant 165.4m/day. Day rates for drill ships have dropped from $600K/day to $175K/day. Given that, it's amazing Ocean Rig willingly got the job done so efficiently without stringing it out a bit.

I see the Ocean Rig Poseidon just drilled a well off Namibia in 10 days, a duster admittedly, lets hope the time taken at Ekland and Agar-Plantain reflect positive outcomes!

Ekland has been a longer drill than scheduled rogerlin. About 65 days so far? Agar-Plantain may have another 15 days to go, assuming last re-spud on 23/9 was for the whole works.

"We’re currently in two wells, Ekland and Agar Plantain. One operated by Cairn, the Ekland well and we anticipate results for those wells towards the end of this month". That was September, some re-spud delays at Agar Plantain I think but news from Ekland soon?

Mexico is the only reason I'm here lol. India - I've written off - they may win but they'll never see the money and actually the costs to date and of chasing have got to be about $5MM now plus mgt time dedicated to this previously and in future plus ongoing third party costs moving forward - start to get really expensive - imho? Senegal - I know people on here see FAR as an irritant - which I think is patronising - but it remains they have got this issue into an arbitration court and this is an achievement in itself and means there is some concept or argument to be debated. I'm sure they can be bought out for say $10MM plus legal costs but again it potentially holds things up and causes an amount/element of uncertainty? N Sea looking ok but I think there are inevitable problems with some of the production that is being 'ignored' at the moment imho? All above imho but I am still confident "Mecico" will be the next Senegal and less 'complicated' although I expect the fiscal terms to be significantly less generous which will hopefully cause a woosh next year lol! Best of luck all.

I like this stock. Production, development, low impact exploration, high impact exploration, oil price outlook and the Indian claim make it really interesting at current prices.
