15/1/2021 06:23 | Pity they didn't give a hint yesterday. Results to be released on 17th February and you won't be dissapointed. lol | amt
14/1/2021 23:50 | MEANWHILE - you are in totally the wrong place to discuss this (unless you are saying that BUR could fund some litigation on the matter). Just two points though : 1. Some NHS admin staff meet patients face to face on a daily basis. 2. If any does is going to waste because a member of the public did not make their appointment (for whatever reason), rather than waste the dose, it will be given to someone available. | kazoom
14/1/2021 22:46 | VACCINE UPDATE, WALES. I always follow the data. Official NHS figures show approx. 10,000 vaccinations given by NHS Wales today and on course to complete the entire population of Wales by January 2022, barring unseen obstacles, of course. They may better this end date as the number still to be vaccinated is diminishing rapidly each day, chiefly due to death. A friend of mine, 89 years old, has an appointment for January 23rd, 30 days after some of the admin. staff (yes, admin. staff) at one North Wales hospital received theirs. Perhaps NHS Wales should cease their primary objective of self preservation and look towards their customers as the reason for their existence. | meanwhile
14/1/2021 12:18 | Yup, at least they have change to operate the RNS machine | donald pond
14/1/2021 12:17 | Phew. That's good. I thought they had gone home in October and turned the lights off. | time_traveller
14/1/2021 12:13 | RNS - On Wednesday February 17, 2021, Burford plans to release a brief 2020 business update at 07.00am EST / 12.00pm GMT / 1.00pm CET. | scubadiverr
14/1/2021 12:02 | Until the seller turns off the taps, I guess. Anyone who knows the company would think they have to be insane, but my guess is that it's hedged by the short positions (Gladstone)? | time_traveller
14/1/2021 11:45 | Relentless, 600p next ? | hatfullofsky

13/1/2021 18:14 | Compo62, Which department of the Wales NHS administration do you work for? I always follow the data. | meanwhile
13/1/2021 17:18 | Ill-informed, infantile and irrelevant. Please don't bother with any further updates. Filtered just in case. | compo62
13/1/2021 15:43 | VACCINE UPDATE, WALES. I understand that the Welsh vaccine programme is progressing according to NHS Wales's initial plan. Most of the NHS staff have now received the vaccine, with only the NHS car park attendants and some admin. staff, records, stationery purchasing etc. to be completed. This is deemed necessary on the grounds that, for example, an NHS office boy may need to deliver a consignment of pencils from the admin. block to hospital reception, thereby presenting a risk to himself, the reception staff and their extended families. This phase being completed, 90+ year olds and care homes will be next in the queue. Further updates will follow as deemed necessary. | meanwhile
13/1/2021 12:39 | May get an update early Feb. | hatfullofsky
13/1/2021 11:15 | Google has a tendency to flag up very old news reports, but with very similar looking publishing dates (with help from players seekng to manipulate the price I wonder). I did a double take at the FT clipping, not least because Petersen has moved on so little in that time. | time_traveller
13/1/2021 10:57 | Should have separated Peterson out into a listed shell | williamcooper104

13/1/2021 10:30 | It's certainly unloved .. ever since MW. But when do we start feeling the love? Investing here feels like an 18 month covid winter. | time_traveller
13/1/2021 09:24 | Now is the time to add. Back to ridiculously cheap. Unloved stock this which makes it a great long term buy | bogman1
13/1/2021 08:59 | Looking to add shortly. | lomax99

13/1/2021 08:15 | 663 is waiting for you | ozzmosiz
12/1/2021 18:37 | This jumped out at me while re-reading the half year report....weight counts eventually, although with Burford it's a long wait. The combination of robust cash receipts in 1H 2020 and the significant level of receivables generated during 1H 2020 puts Burford on track to generate cash receipts from its first half activity at a level consistent with most full years, without taking into account additional realisations and cash proceeds in the second half. | devalpha

12/1/2021 15:31 | Maddox sums it up. They gave a trading update in October which said the courts really weren't progressing a whole deal this year. Do you really want them to come out and said "revenue was zero this month"? What's the point? It's meaningless. As it is if they say the following month that revenue was 100m, 200m, 300m. The market then expects that the following month?? Even looking at a year is too granular on a business like this. They aren't selling tins of baked beans with a regular production line. My view is that more frequent updates is asking for exactly the kind of trouble most people complaining about the lack of updates on here say they want to avoid. | 1aconic |
