Yep that is the $30m of debt that was created on 10 Oct 2014 thanks to having lost the Glenmark arbitration and having lost the Salix case. Jaguar and Napo had nothing to do with each other at that time, the whole merger thing was dreamed up later.

As suggested, they’re reheating an old m.o.

- Something’s wrong, they need to change (CFO etc)!

Target makes said change(s)

- They’ve made a change - this proves there’s something wrong!

You can’t win against this kind of duplicity - the best move is to not play their game and beat them by other means.

If there was nothing wrong with BUR why only yesterday did they make all those changes, including firing the CFO on the spot?

Re Napo.

From here – hxxps://www.thestreet.com/story/14068391/1/after-clearing-valeant-litigation-jaguar-and-napo-pharmaceuticals-reunite.html

the following quote:
"There was litigation financed debt that needed to be restructured," Conte said. She added that as a part of the settlement, Jaguar received the licensing rights to Mytesi back from Valeant.
"When you settle, that's technically considered a win," Conte added. "We needed to restructure that debt to allow Napo to go forward."

From here – hxxps://jaguarhealth.gcs-web.com/node/7681/html
see heading “Napo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. - Notes to Condensed Consolidated Financial Statements”, in particular Notes 8, 12 and 13.

8. Debt and Warrants
see - Litigation Debt (in particular, first paragraph)
Presumably, the third party “PurchaserR21; is Burford. There appears to be no breakdown of the principal amount of $30m referred to or details as to how it was arrived at, but it doesn’t seem unreasonable to assume that at that point it already included a return on the funds advanced, because (from first link above) settle = win (see also below). The $30m would also appear to be large enough to include the amount of $15.8m referred to in other posts on this board.

12. Litigation Settlements
Both Salix and Glenmark appear to be referred to as settlements. The Salix settlement comes from the appeal, following the trial. The Glenmark settlement is shown as December 2013 (i.e. before the 2013 accounts were signed off).

I always post a marker in every single prediction I make online whether its a buy or sell.

Right now Bur is what £8.30 mid.

In a years time it will still be around £8.30 mid.

Thats it.

It's over.

Trust has gone ......FOREVER.

The share price is closer to fair value.

In future, everyone will look at this "FORENSICALLY"

And it will be covered in small circular bruises the size of a 50p piece where the BARGEPOLE has been poking it.

Its going to go to sleep in this range.

I said........YOINK!! oh never mind...

For a 'lie catcher' their criteria is fairly self-fulfilling. Everybody is fibbing, including themselves.

Let's gloss over though that they only analysed responses, not that which the responses were being made to. If you randomly accuse somebody of murder, for example, then it's likely Qverity will render the responder a fibber regardless given their catch-all criteria, and one-sided analysis. Not the most astute analysis ever done. But it does suggest MW had nothing themselves to counter with, so fell back on a company who have taken their money in the past; a company who would be looking to construct a report that would please their client and be of use to them.

bbms yes I did actually, yes there is such a thing as confirmation bias, does that prove I am wrong? Is that your best argument against what I am saying?
