Another USA state imposes a ban

Rhode Island Is Latest State To Ban Flavored Vaping Products





There are 50 states (stars) on the USA flag

buywell thinks IMO from this point forwards at least ONE state per week will impose a vaping ban

So from now until after xmas

The FDA will have to act very soon or look very, very silly

Suspect that's the case Simba.

My reading of the vaping issues is that it relates to only black market ones(especially those with THC) and the bona fide non black market vape is perfectly safe.....time will tell..

The price recently halved from the chart all time high

Current anti smoking sentiment is not helping this one iota and IMO the BOD would be better looking to diversify away from tobacco altogether instead of all these buybacks which tend to only delay the inevitable .

IMO 1500p retest of chart support now looks possible










Funnily exactly the same can be said of BATS IMO

Hi @andrewbaker just wanted to hear how you got to pay back of capital in 7 years? Is that assuming a rising dividend? £1000 = £70 per year x7 =£490 so 50% of capital?

As mentioned above, tobacco companies, inc. BATS, will diversify away from tobacco over time (and remember they owned Hambro/Allied Dunbar at one point), and for now they are safe cash cows with good dividends for those wanting a home for income producing money. Whenever the price is under £30, BATS is a clear buy. At current yield, you'll get your capital back in just over seven years, and that's without any increase in the divi, which is unthinkable anyway. So, 7% on your money, plus a chance of capital gain, plus the possibility of diversification producing more value. As I've said before, I'm so heavy now on BATS that I can't justify buying more: but I'm very happy sitting back and taking the money. :)
