I sold mine and at 27 with a 30 exit in mind but did it anyway. I think now is about right but then there's the divi coming.... Tough one |
tempting to sell at these figures. |
Indeed it turned out to be a good week |
good week.... so far! |
GBp/USd below 1.25 now |
I think it will hit £30 before the update.Management were happy with Velo organic growth last time and if IMB is experiencing good growth with Blu then surely the main player in the vape market Vuse must be experiencing similar organic growth in the vape boom at present.GBp/USd down around 1.26 so it all helps. |
Surely the run up to x divi will push this to 30 it just seems to be lagging a bit gla |
I see the banks up to their usual tricks of raising rates for borrowers and reducing savings rates on deposits.Still 8% yield and BB here certainly beats a 3.5%-4% on a savings account |
Very much looking forward to the BATS FY24 pre-close update now to see how they are getting along given the positive gains over at IMB in 2 days and +100 pence..
Still no guidance on their calendar as of today but 05th, 06th, 09th December look odds on for the RNS..
Time for another run up and over 3000 pence.. :o) |
Total annual shareholder returns have been impressive there, increased profits and they're riding the vape boom right now.Stefan Bomhard set out a five year plan and he's executed and delivered.Marroco is starting down his plan and hopefully can replicate Bomhard's success.Annual shareholder returns are impressive here and if the vape boom is real (and i have no reason to doubt it) then NGPs growth and increasing profits to overall profits should be reflected in the update to come.MO,PM and IMB have all reported good results and only Japan tobacco hasn't followed the trend but as that company has pharma and retail investment interests alongside it's not exactly a pure big tobacco play to judge comparative results against. All to play for in the upcoming update imho. |
We will catch up soon enough waiting patiently for an update on the stake in itc hotels :-) |
No stopping Imperial, leaving Bats behind. |
3200p end of year, if all the stars align, Santa rally etc, including ex dividend 21st Dec, 58.88p, can't see date for trading update, last year it was 6th Dec, so I expect something. |
choo choo to 3000 |
Looking over at IMPs today and they are up 3% so far, the read across puts us on a path for another run at 3000 here, we know that BATS are further ahead on NGP than Imperial.. :o)
Well done to anyone who has been dedicated and built their ISA into a 7 figure pot, fantastic, 25 years of stake building can do that with the compounding IF you can max it out every year..
Lord John Lee has the top spot AFAIR and started back in the PEP/Tessa days pre 1999, some interesting YT of him with the Investor Chronicle.. |
Must admit how is Phillip Morris p.e 20? Bats even at say 3600p p.e 10.Once we are through 3000p resistance then 3000p becomes a new support level, good luck bulls. |
Got Nvidia but not in ISA, they must be over 200 dollars in 2025. |
👍🏻 I read the other day it's up to 4,850 now and that data is two years old too.
I am not one of them myself yet but maybe next year if I add my £20k and see Nvidia growth I could very well be 😂
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
Of course anything can happen out the blue, look what happen to Pharma with Trump, looking ahead at 3600p p.e 10, I don't think expensive we want another dividend increase for 2025 and buybacks to continue. Then hopefully another good year coming. |
I took a trading profit, but I have shedloads in an Isa, don't forget i'm one of the 3004 investors who have over 1m in Isas so nice holding.25 investors have over 2m in Isas, hopefully catch them up, lol |
Did you re buy this morning monty following the IMB results or are you still out?
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
Superb from Imps, of course profit taking Bats earlier, Bats brokers in there buying start at 9.00am, so shareprice should move ahead.Bats update should be around 6th December, that's when I think will push Bats to a year end 3200p.Also don't forget ex div 21st Dec another 58.88p in the tax free isa bag. |
Cup forming on the chart, which is very bullish medium term ... |
Philip Morris trades at a chunky premium for a reason.. Superior Non Smokeable product portfolio.
But BAT does have the opportunity to expand its market share for sure.
Not tried either of the companies non smokeable offerings as I quit smoking cold turkey style 12 years or so ago.
Required immense fortitude and was my second attempt. Previous effort lasted a year and I thought I'd be able to have "just the one" |
Philip Morris is on a PE of 20.5 we are 7.9 must be scope to narrow clothe gap closer to day £35 or a PE of 10x?! |
