But it’s one of those things you may well look back on and say “I wished I’d done that” 5 or 10 years in the future …..🤣
I am about 70% all in bp and shell and have been for several years since 2020 and have done ok so far
Very reckless but feels right/ok

Kinda amuses me and has got a bit of a cliche when people say this is an opportunity to buy on the dip . I think most people like me are fully invested and unfortunately cannot make any more purchases short of mortgaging the house lol

This pullback has been useful to adjust risks on the upside - I didn't expect share price to exceed much above 500p until June

I think you're probably right, hellscream. Shell is having the same problem. BP is buying back 100 million shares a month 1 billion + a year. Oil (Brent) holding between $80.00/$90.00 a barrel thanks to Opec +. Just keep topping up on the lows. License to print your own dosh! Wink wink.

UK government is broke, in addition, this wound really suit there narrative to offset BP elsewhere. I agree, it would a battle, but times have changed, BP aren't welcome in the U.K., the politicians have seen fit to focus their attention on them being part of the problem, not the solution.

They could very well up the dividend by 10%, which would be welcome. On the other hand, keeping the share price low is very good for buybacks, which will be in our favour later.

Agreed, still risk on re oil. Chatter around BP / Shell should maintain a premium re pricing so reckon share price Monday might dip then rise, volume should be high. Markets will maintain a premium awaiting Israel response.
