Cushing down another circa 1MBO this week. If there are any more reductions at Cushing then they will be down to sludge in the tanks. Either way which way oil is needed at Cushing. Perhaps Biden will raid the SPR again sometime soon. I reckon the POO will hit $100 Brent soon. As long as Murray makes the right noises at the next qtr results then I see no reason for 550p not to be breached soon and the giddy heights of 600p by year end.

There is nothing wrong with a slightly rising curve going upwards, meb123. I'm happy with a slow rise. Will be interesting to know what sort of person, hopefully not woke.

Looks like this is a summary of the research behind the uplift in oilers by JPM. All ears for the new CEO commentary on BP and it's direction of travel. I am hopeful, and like most here I suspect it's a hold and wait for news time.

If they raise it to 600p a good increase , why is it still considered neutral ? Lol

Well, at 94, a barrel is not surprising, really. Results should be good come the end of October. Probably be more share buybacks.

Funny where there is a whiff of oil sliding , it goes down straight away . The rises however are not necessarily proportionate. Also just read they have appointed an interim CFO . I suspect its going in the direction of the previous CFO becoming the CEO . Simple and hassle free lol

Being punished this morning. Oil price slips a couple of dollars. Still $93 a barrel, which is really good for BP. Put it down to profit taking!

API reported a circa 5mbo draw. More importantly Cushing reported a 2mbo draw leaving only 22mbo at Cushing. I did read once that if 20mbo is breached at Cushing it might struggle to operate efficiently. Interesting times now UK PLC is doing a green pivot. Perhaps it is time for BP to tap the rudder more towards legacy fuels.

New gaffer be it male/female/they/us whatever eagerly anticipated… as long as they have a huge set of greasy mucky hairy (non woke) nads and vast amounts of oil scented testosterone coursing through their veins I’ll be happy 👍

Oil at nearly $95.00 dollars a barrel, brent. Can't see it drop below $90.00 barrel now the cuts are taking effect. Some good results are coming in the next two quarters. IMHO.
