25/10/2023 12:33 | BP was a legitimate target for Chevron. | richvandam
25/10/2023 10:52 | The share price is holding up well, despite the drop in WTI this week. Let's see if the results will have any impact. | younasm
24/10/2023 17:00 | bp was never an target, both exxon and chevron bids were $60 billion, BP is worth $200b on paper. | hellscream
24/10/2023 16:14 | FYI just found out why BP fell 2.4% yesterday. Being Europes weak. Link in this sector for several years there was an expectation of a bid from Chevron . They went for another company . The fall is the price of mourning such a transaction. | meb123
24/10/2023 14:58 | Update next week | revell40
24/10/2023 12:33 | Incidentally GATC is a recruitment agency ..... powered by BP one hopes :) | meb123

23/10/2023 15:44 | - 15 Oil, Brent $92.5 ish a barrel. Funny old world. As said earlier, it's great to share buybacks. Always my glass half full. | veryniceperson
23/10/2023 14:15 | That's a big when, meb. | veryniceperson
23/10/2023 13:28 | News. Sorry third time luck lol | meb123
23/10/2023 13:27 | There is also need of BP continuing to spend money on useless Green start ups that won't make them money . Will they ever learn ? Hopefully a new CEO will put an end to this . | meb123
23/10/2023 12:17 | Despite Shell market cap being significantly higher, the total value of trade per day is often similar. Right now BP is higher today. Shell has 2x the level of buybacks making them more impactful and gives the ability to absorb short term moves more easily. Also Shell can not be taken over given its size/importance but BP is not completely out of discussion & another large US has done a deal without BP | the white house
23/10/2023 12:05 | It's ridiculous at $92 a barrel. Never mind through, help the buybacks. | veryniceperson
23/10/2023 12:02 | So why did the Hess news not effect SHEL ? | garycook
23/10/2023 11:41 | guess oil in the $90's is rubbish than, back to £4.50 we go. | hellscream
23/10/2023 11:13 | Hmmm... Shell is steady so it must be BP specific, or MM's trying to trigger stops. Either way BP will continue to buy cica 4M shares a day and it should cost a bit less given the drop. If there is news out there it should be available soon. | gwatson56
23/10/2023 10:50 | What's with the sudden drop around 10am ? | meb123
22/10/2023 12:36 | I do agree with you hellscream. Wasn't so long ago we were getting 10 cents a quarter. | veryniceperson
22/10/2023 06:28 | good CEO and an 20% increase in the dividend should see us in the £7. | hellscream
21/10/2023 16:28 | Behind a pay wall. Can you copy and paste, please | veryniceperson |
