Increase taxes in Scotland. This will help lower taxes in the UK especially in the South.

Halifax the same . Take days to buy after the payment date and it's always the highest price of the week .

The 1 million barrel cut per day started at the beginning of the month. Could that be it?

Added today on top of dividend reinvestment, had spare cash in sipp - hope timing will turn out ok.
Strange times, this should (and will) be a “sick squid” share not a 4-1/2 quid share…..

Hard to believe the coming's and going's in Russia over the weekend. The normal reaction of markets is to pile into the $ / Yen / govt bonds and commodities. As for BP I suspect the $ strength will support a small rise. I am hopeful also that the Shell / BP recent share price gap (circa 10% by my reckoning) may close a little so you never know; eyes down in the morning.

Have they also given up their cars, ovens, anything that uses heat, meat (deforestation), clothes (release micro fibres) fish (stock depletion), anything made from oil which is a lot, and the list goes on. Same for the Just Stop Oil morons. Tell them China and Russia are massive polluters and Brasil cuts down forests. Most of what they wear and their banners are derived from oil and made in China with child labour. All that will happen in the UK is poverty caused by a lack of tax revenue and jobs, but more expense to import fuel so more expensive energy. Cheap eco friendly energy is a myth and lie.
