06/6/2023 10:14 | When most analysts are saying oil is going to be 90 by the end of the year how many of you actually believe that ? In fact I prefer them to say it will collapse to say 50. That will be a perfect time to buy BP ! | meb123
06/6/2023 10:09 | Looks like the hype on the Saudi cut is short lived . Oil is back to where it was before . Not surprised by BP price action | meb123
05/6/2023 18:55 | What is strange is that last week China imported record volumes of oil even though its m/f isnt really making much progress. No doubt the majority is heavily discounted Russian oil - giving China an edge (as if it needs one) over western production. Rishi et al prefer the UK to pay a premium to import oil - but then they have done for most of any UK m/f years ago. Still I suppose it keeps Dale Vince and his disruptive legions happy if we fail to exploit our own reserves and bankrupt dirty industry. | scruff1
05/6/2023 18:47 | No but you can change it. I cant remember. Got to say anyway I expected a rise myself although in the current climate I half expect the share price to drop even on good news. Its being quite perverse - very little seems to move the price upwards and very little hiccups seem to produce quick sharp falls. | scruff1
05/6/2023 18:34 | Who was it, you can edit a post but you can't remove the fact you've posted something? | kasamavic
05/6/2023 17:55 | Destocking must be near an end soon. The GS guy explained that the cost of holding oil is quite expensive given interest rates on the rise. Also the final (until 2026) SPR release to be complete for end of this month. And come 1/7 the Saudi’s removing another 1M barrels. So I reckon on balance the POO should be much higher in the final half of the year. I agree BP share price should be £5 +. | gwatson56
05/6/2023 17:08 | I see the geezer who predicted an 8p rise today has removed his post :-) | scruff1
05/6/2023 15:32 | Heading for red, methinks. | veryniceperson
05/6/2023 10:53 | If oil doesn't move up or down, nobody will make any money. As you say, take your pick | veryniceperson
05/6/2023 09:58 | The China narrative ie weakening demand is also used to drive oil down . Take your pick to explain the movement:) | meb123
05/6/2023 08:54 | america will mention the word recession and we're be down in the afternoon, seen it all before. | hellscream
05/6/2023 07:17 | Saudis cut output should send Bp higher | daler1966
04/6/2023 21:03 | Good news from Vienna | gilesy911
04/6/2023 19:06 | Saudis to cut output by 1m barrels/day. | dovey21
01/6/2023 20:23 | 9.79 Million shares purchased today, quite a jump from the circa 4 million of late. All eyes on OPEC + now it seems USA debt matter is nearly over the line. I agree if shorts are in the money perhaps better to close and bank tomorrow. | gwatson56
01/6/2023 04:44 | wish i had some spare cash around to buy... waiting for dividend :(. my guess oil will be up 3-5% friday, lets see how many shorters hold into the weekend. | hellscream
31/5/2023 16:47 | 123 million, high margins today. Thought it a mention! | veryniceperson
31/5/2023 15:45 | Same here - further purchase at 450p | younasm
31/5/2023 13:38 | Come on, don't talk the talk, walk the walk. It's got to be worth it. I've brought some at 449. Very good company, 449 a steal. Isn't it? | veryniceperson
31/5/2023 13:10 | 451 and 452 for me. Bottom draw given the Opec and US debt matters at hand. Sub 450 Exxon might even be interested £6 is a 30% premium… affordable perhaps ? | gwatson56
31/5/2023 12:46 | Buy at 450. | viscount1
31/5/2023 12:11 | Very poor numbers out of China has pushed this and the sector down today. Will it go lower when the US opens??? | tuftymatt
31/5/2023 11:57 | Minus 14. Very overdone. | veryniceperson
31/5/2023 08:29 | As always down to the US | daler1966 |
