10/7/2015 09:50 | Morning all. Staying well away from the indicies and forex trades today. Just bought some equities in the 100 index. Not huge positions, but I'll hold them until the Zorbas settle. Off to get some breakfast. New hound now totally familiar with the routine at the breakfast bar. Got to get him a sausage bap with brown sauce before he'll even move from there. Tourists think it's quite amusing, but I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing. He's not overweight because he runs around like a mad thing. Time will tell. Trade well and prosper.... | penycae
09/7/2015 17:04 | Thank you for you 'thumbs up' Penycae. Yes I agree it was somewhat 'earthy' but true. Could be some very sharp spikes on Sunday. I will refrain from making comparisons with Vlad the Impaler. | ![]() bracke
09/7/2015 16:26 | Opto- you got four! I think that ties with bracke. Not bad at all. bracke - I've given you a thumbs up for the laxative trade, even though it was in poor taste. Still flat. Doubt I'll do anything tomorrow, as they're going to put the margins up, so they can mug us on the weekend. I can do without this. Might polish the family jools. Trade well and prosper....... | penycae
09/7/2015 13:12 | One didn't take long! perhaps the other has had his time in the computer room and now must go to the workshop to earn some spending money. | ![]() optomistic
09/7/2015 13:06 | Good afternoon Bracke thanks for the correction...credit to Penny then :-) wonder if I will get a thumbs down for that! LOL | ![]() optomistic
09/7/2015 12:31 | Good day optomistic It was Penycae who named them The Chuckle Brothers. Good day Penycae Your DOW trade is the best thing known to medical science as a ......laxative. | ![]() bracke
09/7/2015 12:05 | Skinny - just given you the thumbs up. Post of the day for you! The chuckle brothers who haunt this thread vote every post down, whether it's on topic, off topic, bullish or bearish. They're normally pretty quick. Most thumbs down I ever got was three. I'm hoping one day to get five to beat bracke, but it's only blue names can do it. You wouldn't like to help me out would you? If you vote this post down, along with the chuckles, I'll have at least three. BP turning into a proper trading share. At a tenner a point, if you get it right, it's a fairly low risk bet. | penycae
09/7/2015 11:05 | Oh well - each to their own I guess! | ![]() skinny
09/7/2015 11:03 | Skinny, we have a couple of followers that appear to give everyone a thumbs down. Bracke has a name for them...chuckle brothers I believe it is. I even got two for wishing Peny 'a good walk' LOL | ![]() optomistic
09/7/2015 10:40 | Am I missing the point with every post being given 2 thumbs down? | ![]() skinny
09/7/2015 09:40 | Morning Peny, enjoy your walk. | ![]() optomistic
09/7/2015 09:18 | Morning all. Out of the DOW on a limit order for 50 points, but that was a very poor trade. Had too much risk on last night. Trade was over 100 points underwater. Thought I'd come unstuck there. Ego against common sense. Backed it up on last night's close with a long CAC from 4016. Left that overnight, so closed manually on the open at 4670. Flat and frightened at the moment, so off with the dog. Trade well and prosper...... | penycae
08/7/2015 17:27 | Enough risk here, and this is a FTSE major. Long DOW 17592. | penycae

08/7/2015 10:52 | Really depends on the Iranian nuclear deal, results of which have been delayed a few days, if no deal is reached, then expect brent/WTI to rise along with BP share price ! | ![]() dmf
08/7/2015 10:22 | The key is 414ish. If this fails to support 400 is a very high probability and diku may even get 380. It's in the lap of the gods. Perhaps a visit to Mount Olympus is called for. | ![]() bracke
07/7/2015 23:03 | Diku. I'll give you a thumbs up for that but something will have to go seriously wrong for that price. | ![]() optomistic
07/7/2015 22:36 | Would prefer to buy in around 380p.. | ![]() diku
07/7/2015 22:35 | Robert, all your eggs in one basket? Sounds a little gung ho but good luck. Perhaps balanced portfolio's are so 2014 lol. | ![]() supermarky
07/7/2015 21:39 | That a very good call Robert. Brought some more N Grid last week so no funds available for now, blast it never mind. | ![]() veryniceperson
07/7/2015 21:37 | RF the term ones are OK, unfortunately mine expired earlier this year...3% replaced by 1.5% My major holding is Lloyds built up from the distant past now just popping above water. Fingers crossed on this one 😐 | ![]() optomistic
07/7/2015 21:35 | FTSE futues up 86 points after DOW closed well up, Light Crude up nearly 1$ nearly 2% so could be good for a BP rise at 8am, (if these rises last till then) Wrote to soon, Light Crude dropping like a stone, Ho HUM | ![]() robertfaulkner
07/7/2015 21:28 | optomistic, all our Barclay Banks ISAs now in BP, I already had quiet a lot of BP at higher prices, bought just after first big drop following Gulf of Mex blow out. All our other ISAs are term ones so probably good to stop me buying any more BP for a while. | ![]() robertfaulkner |
