01/7/2015 10:39 | Good day Penycae Not to damp I hope. Did you leave a limit profit order? If you did I doubt you placed it as far up as it rose to!! | bracke
01/7/2015 09:38 | What's not to like about those posts? Cracking song. Off with the hound. Probably take two glasses of Krug, as believe it or not, it's chucking it down at the moment. I blame the Greeks. | penycae
01/7/2015 09:13 | Same old, same old. Went long about ten minutes ago. Crash! | penycae
01/7/2015 08:53 | Morning all. See what I mean about the DOW? Up 141 this morning, thanks to the futures bandits. Fear and greed. | penycae
30/6/2015 18:33 | The advantage of the current volatility means that if you miss a rise or drop never mind, there'll be another along in a few minutes. Definitely agree with you Penycae, price action even more than usual is highly important. As I type I suspect that your DOW long is above water. | bracke
30/6/2015 18:30 | Closed for 11 points on that 6.30 candle. That's me done for today, nerves won't stand it. Watch the DOW rocket.... Trade well and prosper Earthlings. | penycae
30/6/2015 18:14 | Evening all. Had a good day today, over 100 points banked, but fair to say it's been a nerve-racking experience. Almost every trade I entered went the wrong way at the outset with a sickening fall or rise, depending which side of the market I was on. Signals or TA don't mean much in these conditions. Just have to watch the price action during your trading period, and place stops at extremes. Hoping to take a break tonight, but nursing a long DOW. Opto- I reckon there's a good chance you'll get your entry pont here tomorrow. That long DOW went underwater by 15 points within ten seconds of placing the trade! Tempted to throw it in, but you can bet as soon as I do it'll rocket. | penycae
30/6/2015 16:50 | optomistic "NO thumbs down for it" ==================== The 'Chuckles' will soon be along to correct that! | bracke
30/6/2015 16:48 | Thanks for your post 86030. Notice at time of posting this that you have two thumbs up and NO thumbs down for it...someone neglecting their duties :-) | optomistic
30/6/2015 16:44 | The Greek situation is a major event. The whole of the market is affected. This should assist your understanding. | bracke
30/6/2015 16:38 | whats bp gotta do with Greece ffs? | hellscream
30/6/2015 16:26 | optomistic I've just had another look at the runes. The share price has given up for the time being on retaking the Daily SMA 200. Provided the Greeks don't do anything silly like giving in to the EU there is a high probability of 413. More uncertainty about dropping to 400. It the referendum on Sunday is 'No' then high probability of 400 and maybe lower. If 'Yes' the market will likely go 'nuts' and up she goes. | bracke
30/6/2015 15:25 | Bracke ride on for ease...push model for exercise, mines a push one with electric powered cutter, nothing special just a simple Bosch for about £90. btw keep shorting BP it's taking a while to get below 420 :-) | optomistic
30/6/2015 11:59 | optomistic Perhaps you will reconsider Tesco. "Off to cut grass now :-0)" ==================== On your luxury ride-on no doubt. | bracke
30/6/2015 11:46 | Bracke, I very very rarely visit Tesco. Those 5 private jets being a good enough reason! I don't know if they have all gone yet, can't say I have anything about them for some time. Off to cut grass now :-0) | optomistic
30/6/2015 11:30 | Good day 'Pigeon' Penycae Well done with your 80 points but some would consider that somewhat excessive. I restricted myself to 20 points on the DOW.......moderation in all things.....well maybe not all. | bracke
30/6/2015 11:13 | Morning all. Just banked 80 ponts, mainly on the CAC. Going to walk away for a bit now. Some days you're the statue, others you're the pigeon. Trade well and prosper...... | penycae
30/6/2015 10:24 | Good day optomistic You certainly play the 'field' I note Tesco did not make your list? | bracke
30/6/2015 09:19 | How Mutch more down yet | stevenrevell
29/6/2015 18:51 | Yes Bracke I do have a small shop at those two, also Morrison's M&S, Sainsbury's but mainly I am an ASDA shopper...I really don't know where all the food goes to! LOL Near 400 is a good target in these uncertain times. | optomistic
29/6/2015 17:44 | Good day optomistic Hmmmm I bet you shop at Aldi or Lidl. Depending on events 413 is possible and maybe 400. | bracke
29/6/2015 17:35 | Just gone long on the DOW. They might just set a floor at 17700. | penycae
29/6/2015 17:14 | Yes Bracke just a little less please. Had a lot of long holds in BP by buying impulsively in the past. Always got out OK in the end, and the divis on top. :-)) | optomistic
29/6/2015 16:41 | "I'm still looking for a bit lower before the fill." ==================== WHAT!!! Are you waiting for them to be given away!!!!! | bracke
29/6/2015 16:31 | Good afternoon Peny, Gap to fill for BP...it usually does fill them. I'm still looking for a bit lower before the fill. | optomistic |
