29/6/2015 14:57 | I'd agree with you if this all turns into an almighty gapfill. | ![]() penycae
29/6/2015 11:38 | Markets actually looking quite strong, but only because they've bounced from the lows set by the bookies last night. Surprised by the Euro strength this morning. Be interesting to see how Uncle Sam reacts real time. Taken a Euro/$ short from 1.1102. Slightly underwater at the moment, but it's been ranging through there to the downside all day. Been in and out of some CAC longs, but flat everywhere else. Yanks will get a grip of this later on. I have a feeling they'll sell the open. | ![]() penycae

27/6/2015 17:58 | Goto this week's Economist, pp. 12-13, article titled "Russia and Yukos, Bound over". BP shareholders should read the last paragraph especially. | ![]() uncle_sam
26/6/2015 16:31 | I note I was the worthy recipient of three thumbs up for my last post. Thank you. The 'Chuckles' gave me thumbs down. There's no pleasing them. As for the Greeks. Will they, wont they. If they will they are leaving it beyond the 'wire'. There was a nice heads up on Talking Forex at 14.54 about the Greek talks which was not reported on the mainstream until approx five minutes later. It was very useful. | ![]() bracke
26/6/2015 15:39 | Closed cable long for 13 points. That'll do for this week. Have a good weekend all. One of my favourites...... | ![]() penycae
26/6/2015 15:15 | DOW and European longs paid off nicely, so profit banked and rent covered for next week. Taken another cable long just for the afternoon. Might be some more to go with the DOW, but flat there. World news a bit depressing. Trade well and prosper.... | ![]() penycae
26/6/2015 10:39 | Good day Penycae Unfortunately not being a 'blue' name I am prevented from joining the 'Chuckles' and giving you the 'thumbs down'. Resorting to underhand tactics in order to covet a post number is un-gentlemanly. I'm sure monkey will take a dim view of your behaviour. | ![]() bracke
26/6/2015 09:42 | Shermans threw their toys out of the pram last night, so Europe opens down this morning. Europe generally depressed about the Zorbas, so DAX and CAC losing support. This causes the futures bandits over the pond to lower the DOW further, and so it goes. We are supposed to scratch a living out of this. The smart money is on the dark side this morning, yet the monkey has got me long everywhere. At times like this you have to resort to cat kicking. Trouble is, the monkey has tipped her off, and she's gone into hiding. Time to walk the hound and grab a bacon sarnie. Hope the stops hold everywhere. | ![]() penycae
26/6/2015 09:34 | Morning chuckie! Get on that cable trade? | ![]() penycae

26/6/2015 08:43 | Morning all. Interesting times. Got a DOW long underwater from last night, so looking for a bounce. Buying Europe in anticipation that they'll come to terms. Can't help feeling that Greece is priced in either way. Trade well and prosper...... | ![]() penycae
26/6/2015 07:18 | Set Greece free. It thrived thousands of years with the dictators of Brussels telling it what motors to put in its hairdryers. | ![]() dafrog
26/6/2015 05:06 | Bend over and touch your toes Europe and accept greeces terms. | ![]() hellscream
25/6/2015 15:31 | What chance indeed bracke. Taken 4/5p off the share price here, which is frustrating for holders. I ceased trading shares a long time ago, although I still buy and hold for Mrs.P. Markets are looking a bit stretched, even without this Greek debacle. The volatility works for me at the moment, but after I meet my points target on any day I'm happy to close, as it's far too easy to give back to the bookies all you've earned in a day. Thanks for springing to my defence on the FX thread. I don't post there very often. They think, quite correctly, that I'm a moron. I'm thinking of getting a user i/d for the monkey, so that he can post over there without being embarrassed. | ![]() penycae
25/6/2015 15:16 | The US have viewed Europe as the 'old countries', unable to manage themselves. The Greek situation and the farce surrounding will have done nothing to cause a change of mind. If the current situation is the best that the EU can do what chance does it have. | ![]() bracke
25/6/2015 14:58 | Looks like the Shermans are getting irritated over Greece. Threw their toys out of the pram on the open, and closed last night's gap. Viscious move on Europe, but you can't blame them. | ![]() penycae
