26/1/2015 15:16 | 6p per quarter (or 10 cents in US money), equivalent at today share price to 5.34%. You wont get that in a bank. | ![]() neilyb675
26/1/2015 15:14 | Whats the divi yield guys? Any thoughts on if it will be reduced with the low oil prices? | ![]() celeritas
26/1/2015 15:08 | klotzak - there's a lot more to BP than meets the eye. Generally, it's a bellweather stock that reflects macroeconomics. It's the only reason I use this thread to post on - much to the irritation of others. | ![]() penycae
26/1/2015 15:02 | This share is a lunatic, down 8 then slightly positive on no news? I don't think I'm cut out for this one! | ![]() klotzak

26/1/2015 14:28 | Cable long from 1.5028. 1.5080 looks do-able.- 30 point stop. Monkeysoft...... | ![]() penycae
26/1/2015 11:53 | The Greek people would be far better off out of the Euro Zone. At least the Dracma could then be devalued and the Greeks could get back into business. | selborne_edge
26/1/2015 11:04 | Of course, what we are seeing here and with the poo in general is the Arabs at war with the (non-western) oil producers like Russia, Nigeria, Venezuela etc, inflicting more damage on their peoples and economies than as if armies had rolled in with tanks and air power, laying waste swathes of these countries' infrastructure. The damage is the same and they will take as long to recover, if ever the POO recovers to economic levels for them, which is not guaranteed. War by proxy? There will be new flash points between Opec and non Opec producers. imo | ![]() cumnor
26/1/2015 08:50 | Morning all. Market moving contrary to expectations. I think they're setting things up for a sharp reversal. Not taking any trades until the Greek smoke clears. Trade well and prosper.... | ![]() penycae

23/1/2015 17:35 | I agree, higher the better ! But I am happy with 450p plus divi. I have my shares in my SIPP.. | ![]() karateboy
23/1/2015 17:07 | Yes,470p with divi would justify taking the risk taken when buying at lows. | ![]() philo124
23/1/2015 16:24 | Back in profit. I'm targeting around 470p here with divis, should be a nice return in the ISA. | smurfy2001
23/1/2015 16:08 | kaffee - I got stopped out of that one, and dropped 25 points. The trade went into profit, but only by about 4 or 5 points, not enough to trigger the limit order. The trade didn't look right when I took it, as it looked as if the move up was exhausted. I let the trade run, to test out some system parameters. I'm using a different time scale to enter trades. The 'puta is trying to put me in somewhere in the middle of a move, rather than trying to predict the start. I'm getting safer trades, but need to take bigger stakes to make up for the later entry. I've taken 57 net points in the last three days just trading GBP. With the higher stakes that's a reasonable return, as I'm not in front of the screen all day. Still difficult getting the stop right, especially with FOREX. I've also noticed that the bookies tend to exaggerate moves counter-trend. Your stop has to be wider than you'd like. I'm setting stops at 25 away at the moment. I used to leave them very much wider. Boring stuff, but that's what trading should be. When I take a day trade on BP, I use the same system. At the minute the trend is up, but there are signs that the move is coming to an end, so I'll take the short trade when the planets line up, assuming that there's not a better set up elsewhere. Trade well and prosper.... | ![]() penycae
23/1/2015 15:42 | Nice bowl formation. | smurfy2001
23/1/2015 14:42 | What happened to this one? Penycae 20 Jan'15 - 14:51 - 85534 of 85570 1 2 'Puta just given me the heads up to go long on cable. Interesting that, because the 30 minute chart would suggest that momentum is exhausted. Taken the trade, as no point having a system if you don't follow it. Long from 1.5190. Better work, as I didn't buy into the rise this morning. | ![]() kaffee
23/1/2015 09:58 | Morning all. Took a Euro/£ short this morning which paid off, so the rent is covered. Probably stay out for the rest of the day. Might be some profit taking coming later on. Edited this post, as I was waiting for the red hand! Trade well and prosper Earthlings...... | ![]() penycae
