Morning all.
No trades worth taking at the moment, although it looks as if the markets want down.
Off to Cardiff this afternoon. Going to be cold with the stadium roof off.....

Trade well and prosper Earthlings.

Resistance likely at the Daily SMA 200 - 462.

Needs a 'dose' of volume to maintain the upward momentum.

Got my ten points out of that one, but by the skin of the monkey's teeth.
Looks to be a good short bet now, but the planets are not lined up.
Just depends on what the Shermans do next. Futures bandits been a little over exuberant, but we'll have to see.
Should have held onto my cable long, but got my limit order filled early, so can't complain.
Only getting three thumbs down. Bit disappointing that........

Good day Penycae

I've given your post a 'thumbs up' to offset the 'thumbs down'. I have a position to protect.

Your CAC trade very close to giving you the ten points, it's teasing you.

EDIT

Nearly forgot to mention.....the gap filled today.

Morning all.

gallops - sorry I didn't respond yesterday, I'd switched off early. It's difficult for me to give any entry points other than when we're in "live" sessions. Any major move (such as the one last night) can affect the parameters of the software which I use. I very often indicate the entry points of the trades I've taken, and these are within minutes of the trade being taken on. It's difficult to forward think the market these days. All you can do is trade what you see. At the moment I have a long CAC trade running from 4679 which is way higher than your suggested entry at 4632, so if you took that you've done well.
I have a limit sell at 4689, so I'm not looking to set the world alight, just break last night's 20.30 pm high for the gap close. If I can do that this morning, I'll be happy - then I'll wait to see what the afternoon brings.
Been in and out of cable this morning, so the rent is covered.
I'm expecting at least three thumbs down for this one, as I have to beat bracke.

Trade well and prosper......

cfc1, it's this kind of market that enabled people to pick up some BP shares for less than £3.80 and sell them for around £4.60 a few months later. They also pushed the price up to £5.20 before that and gave people lots of opportunity to bank some massive profits. What's not to like?

Good afternoon Penycae

I've never paid much attention to the CAC. I just had a look at it.

It appears to be in sideways mode within a 150 point range and currently at the top of the range.

It depends on your time frame.
